  1. Don't fill the coolant all the way to the top of the filler neck, just fill it to about an inch or so past the rad core. and try running some "Engine Ice" next time you do a flush. Banshee's tend to run hot at times, after you run it hard like that don't let it just sit and idle, either shut it down or go for a little ride afterwards to get some air going through the radiator. good luck

  16. Sorry to those who've already heard this, but its worth a laugh. A Japanese company and an American company decided to have a canoe race on the Missouri River. Both teams practiced long and hard to reach their peak performance before the race. On the big day, the Japanese won by a mile. The Americans, very discouraged and depressed, decided to investigate the reason for the crushing defeat. A management team made up of senior management was formed to investigate and recommend appropriate action. As a footnote to a very long report on their findings, they made mention of a structural difference in the composition of the two teams: the Japanese had 8 people rowing and 1 person steering, while the American team had 8 people steering and 1 person rowing. The American management hired a Consulting Company at a hefty fee for a second opinion. They advised that too many people were steering the boat, while not enough people were rowing. To prevent another loss to the Japanese, the rowing team's management structure was totally reorganized to 4 steering supervisors, 3 area steering superintendents and 1 assistant steering manager. They also implemented a new performance system that would give the person rowing the boat greater incentive to work harder. It was called the "Rowing Team Quality First Program", with meetings, dinners and free pens for the rower. There was also discussion of getting new paddles, canoes and other equipment, extra vacation days for practices and bonuses. The next year the Japanese won by two miles. Humiliated, the American management laid off the rower for poor performance, halted development of a new canoe, sold the paddles, and canceled all capital investments for new equipment. The money saved was distributed to the Senior Executives as bonuses and the next year's racing team was outsourced to India. I live in Michigan, and am in the auto industry...there is alot of truth to this...I know its just a story, but it hits home to many of us.
  17. I hear they had alot of problems w/ the 03's (first year)
  18. I like my V-Force 3's, they add a much crisper throttle response and I feel like they made sixth gear come to life. And I've yet to have any problems w/ them. $.02

  24. the only adjustment on those is the pre-load setting, which you could drop a noch w/ a spaner wrench if they feel too stiff for you.
  25. I'd completely disassemble both carbs, clean and inspect the shit out of them, and rebuild them with meticulous attention to detail. Be sure all the jets are set right. Check float heights, inspect needles and needle jets for scratches and burs or bent needles, slides and slide bores, and synchronize them. Might take you an hour or so, but that would rule out a carb problem. Besides your carbs can never be too clean. If it
