go over the basics and obvious stuff. check the chain tension. then lube it. do the same for all ur cables. change the tranny oil. check the pressure in all 4 tires. check for play in a arms and swringarm. . . . just a start. and o ya make sure u premix right. nice find and welcome aboard

good explanation guys. just thought i'd bring it to the attention of whoever the owners were incase they would have to go after that person selling them. i'm a member on planet sand too, just not on there much at all. case solved. loco i wouldn't be surprised if martha threw on the weldin mask and laid a few beads! lol

heres what i did. i adjusted my petal so it was high, touching the clutch cover. then i bled them best i could. then i adjusted the petal down so it wasn't rubbing the clutch cover. seemed to be the only way mine would work good. then take it round the block and use the brakes then repeat the process to make sure they didn't leak or anything. i put a master cyclinder rebuild kit in and some people told me my lines could be expanding so that might be part of the reason why ? ? ? braided is best. good luck

hey first banshee, goo news and for the rest of u guys too. i found out he had a 16 tooth front sprocket, i'm runnin a 14. so theres the answer to my burning dilemma. i agree i am gonna jet up just a little like u said. i got a 188 in it and all i got in my jet kit is a 192. that too big? lemme kno. but for now i am def gonna keep the single carb and wait till after port. then i'll play with it and see how much i can get outta 1 then i'll switch it to 2 and run it for a few days and i'll see which i like better. if i put on a 16 tooth sprocket i should be able to run with him or past him a little. the porting is gonna really wake her up but i think the single should be good. dunedemon and some others have prettyhopped up bikes with porting and pipes and they dune their single carbs. maybe someone who dunes can drop their 2 cents.

anybody on here ever get their banshee ported by D&D? i kno they're a sled oriented place but my sledhead neighbor swears by them and he's told me tons of good things about their products and they're overwillingness to help out with cust service.

i lik ehow my banshee runs. i'm gonna port it over the winter and next riding season i'll decide if i'll switch back to twin or not.

here's my 2 cents. and i'm sure my buddy will chime in my mods are in my sig but i was racin a friend up and down some roads and whoever got the jump seemed to win. his bike just has fmf's and rad valves. mine has 160lbs in each cyclinder where as he has 125 with stock head. 5th and 6th gear he pulled away from me, and good too. again i'm stock bore,stroke,and port. my guess is that the added compression without having a port job and timing advance to take advantage of the added compression is what hurt my topend. i hope someone can give me some advice on why he burns me in 6th gear. as far as the setup. i like it. it was easy to change jets when i was rejettin my new shearers. and i gte a little better milage. only thing is that after i put the new head on i lost low end cas of the compression. i recommend it. i have atrinity one with a 35pwk. feel free 2 pm me with nething u wanna kno about it.

i was in the same boat. and bought trail techs because of the price, plus i got a BRAND New set off bignasty i think his name was like a year ago. no problems or blown bulbs yet. h even threw in a new set of the covers that dont' melt, hell of a deal. maybe u canb get a used set and clean them up.

i rebuilt my master and still have shitty rear brakin. if u have stock lines they may be expanding .even tho u can't tell and u don't have a leak, so buy some braided lines. may help. all else fails buy a better caliper

i just started playing Guild Wars. my brother bought it and i made a character on his account. it's like Everquest except after u buy it for like 40 or 50 bucks u don't have to pay a monthly subscription fee. and it's awesome i like it. i haven't gotten into a game in awhile n i play this for a few hours a day sometimes. give it a look u might wanna try it.
