io got a set of shearers. for the price they're insane! they pull like animals! i love how they hit hard. cas then u kno to hang the hell on!!! the silencers shearer gives u are the nicest looking in my opinion and are really well built! thick aliminium, nice thick bracket. i love them. losing the airbox was a little ify for me at first (i live in PA) but i took it off and used my k&n with an outerwear and have gone on a few rides and so far i don't regret it at all. i actually wish i took the damn thing off sooner. losing the airbox is something to consider unless u wanna shell out another 100 bucks for a custom bent set thats not chromed. cas i asked about it. well happy choosing!

i dunno of neonemmentioned that theres marks on ur basket that u have to line up with the clutch boss. they're little arrows. so when u put it back on make sure u line the arrows up when u put the boss over the basket.

shearers pull like an animal on top! if all u want is top end then do ur homework and i think alot would agree with me. u gotta gear up though. i have stock gearing and my 1st gear is useless i use 2nd alot nemore. i'm gonna go up to a 15 or 16 tooth i think. hell any pipe u get will wake ur banshee up and let it breathe better. have fun man! let us know what u pick out

i took a ride to shamokin this week just to check it out. i wish i had left a few hours earlier nd had brought the shee. it's crazy down there. i may even go 2morrow if someone can go with me. i'm just not sure where to park down there.

i made a nice little intake. i'll try postin some pics 2nite. all i gotta do is build a little splashgaurd now for it. maybe not, we'll see.

i sprayed some ceramic paint in my pipes. it was rated at like 1500 degrees or something crazy like that. hopefully my Shearers won't discolor. i have a few good rides on them and nothing yet

i had a set of t5's and LOVED them! i have Shearers now and love these too. i'd never buy rickets i think they're ugly lookin. i think if whoever was selling them or marketing them should really have gotten a set along with a bunch of other pipes and dynoed them all. $ well spent in research if u ask me. we seen dyno's but they were on 4 mm strokers and stuff. most people on here are just lookin for pipes and maybe port work. word of mouth isn't gonna get me to run rockets. if i seen some more on them maybe i'd run them. but i'm gonna stick with what i've seen and kno for ow. hopefully the guru's at rocket will prove some of the people out there wrong who say they suck. my 2 cents.

i look at it like this. i don't smoke. so when people tell me i'm stupid for spendin all that $ on my banshee can bullshit my way utta it but if they're a smoker i really give it to em. 5 bucks a pack by roughly 30 days a month is 150 bucks a month being burnt up into smoke. if i spent 150 on my banshee every month i'd have some damn nice stuff on it. i've always been all go and no show. but now that i'm almost done with the performance stuff i'm slowly worklin on appearance. fuel for thought

i emailed Shearer a few times and never got a reply. other than goin to a local tractor dealor all i got left to try is an advanced auto that's 10 mins away. so m2orrow i'm gonna go see if they have ne that will work.

i missed out last time and would love to go! anybody have ne directions still? i was thinkin about drivin down n exploring myself this weekend or the week after next

hey oilsmoke, i tried that, i was thinking about using somethin to pry them on with but i'm afraid of denting and scratchin them. i was pushin as hard as i can and they won't go up and over. they're so tight that even if i got them on i have no idea how i'd get them off again.

ya maybe someone with some scientific shit can help u out. too much can be just as bad as not enough in some cases. with more oil in it probally stays hotter longer after reaching operating temp. maybe i'm wrong. i think we all kno what happens with less. u can smoke the oil, thin it out, then burn ur clutch up. i run an 80wt gear oil myself and if i had more money i'd still run it. i never had a problem with the thicker shit. i always let my bike warm up. maybe someone will add more

i know! i don' wanna have an exhaust leak. especially there. maybe dunedemon or someone else can let us know where to go or who to get some from.

anybody that have Shearer pipes have a problem mounting them because the o rings in them make the fit soo tight that they won't slide over the exhaust (manifold) flange at the motor. the o rings i have are an FMF set. they came with 4 springs. are different o rings available? somebody help me out . by the way these babies scream

i hate how the rockets look. i'd get shearers. or another set of CPI's. i got a set of shearers and haven't getten them past 4th gear yet lol. i run out of room. we all hear good things about rockets and CPI's and every other damn pipe available. but as long as u dial ur jetting in and ur bike runs good u'll be pretty happy. i like the looks of CPI's an shearers alot.smooth bends baby. good luck deciding. maybe CPI will still help u out
