ya maybe someone with some scientific shit can help u out. too much can be just as bad as not enough in some cases. with more oil in it probally stays hotter longer after reaching operating temp. maybe i'm wrong. i think we all kno what happens with less. u can smoke the oil, thin it out, then burn ur clutch up. i run an 80wt gear oil myself and if i had more money i'd still run it. i never had a problem with the thicker shit. i always let my bike warm up. maybe someone will add more
