  1. Cool man, for me it seems like it would compliment my banshee well. Some trails I run are tighter then a school girl, some are wide open. I wouldndt mind trying out a 250r. Like I said, if worst comes to worst, I have another banshee to fall back on. Bump bump bump, still lookin for a trade!
  2. Can be done, people do it with cars all the time. It's even easier since in most states you don't have to title/register them.
  3. I like the blackline pegs, they look sharp. I hate the Pro pegs I have though, they make the shee a BITCH to kickstart, and I have the nets as loose as they will go, and I moved the shifter up, and I can still barely get my foot under the shifter with boots on. I'm going back to my stock stuff soon. Hope you have better luck, or smaller feet then I do.
  4. Might be, how is your trans oil? Low? If the crank seal your burning your trans oil. Make sure you didn't swap the carb bowls side to side, common mistake, also, make sure your carbs have the same jets in them, and they are both clean. Good Luck!
  5. Are you serious? Zillas arent the greatest bike out there, the reliability stinks on them, top ends don't last long. You can make a banshee run faster for less $$$$. I'd pass if it were me, at least the 250r is up on the banshee in 1 category.
  6. Yeah, I've never even had the chance to ride one, I've ridden just about everything else, and they just look like sick bikes, with a nice set of fullbores, and some Razr2s, I wouldnt mind adding one to my fleet of offroad vehicles. :yelrotflmao:
  7. Those are the only things I miss about my raptor too. I carry pre-mix in my pack, and a small 2.5 gal. tank in my 6 pack rack. I can fill up in the same time it takes my dad to fill his Polaris, and only about a minute longer then it takes my buddy to fill his EX. Reliability??? My shee gives me almost no problems. If Yamaha added fuel injection to the YFZ I'd be damn tempted to switch though.
  8. Gloss black on the mounts. I don't need to dog bone, thanks though, got one off my buddy up here. You do PC too? Don't worry about the bolts, I should be able to dig something up on them. Let me know how much you want shipped too. Also, wanted to make sure they were the 2 top ones that hold the springs for the exhaust, not the lower ones. Thanks, Jay
  9. Hell yeah, NYUK is the man! Bought a whole bunch of banshee stuff off him, no hassles at all!
  10. Never had an R before, always wanted one. I heard they are sick handling bikes, and I do mostly trails, so I'd like to give it a shot. I've ridden tons of bikes, but never an R. Edit: Besides, I have 2 banshees, if I don't like the R, big deal, I have another shee I can ride.
  11. Bump bump, forgot to add, just installed new brake pads all the way around, and I purchased a billet grill yesterday, should have this week. I will clean her up all nice and purty too, I know the pics look kinda bad.
  12. :yucky: No no no no no, don't listen to this dude in the last post, I think he's about the only person I have ever heard of that reccomends a cub for trails. Don't do it, there are much better setups for much less $$$, a cub on trails is like a top fuel dragster running at LeMans, it just aint happenin'.
  13. Damn dude, give him some time, not everyone is on here all the time like me. Long Island isnt far from me at all.
  14. Agreed. Come on now, PS1 was the best selling console ever.
  15. Yeah, Pep Boys sells a Blaster framed quad, looks identical to a blaster ecpet it's a 150cc air cooled engine, and the company that made it was Miyamoto or some shit like that.
  16. RISERS! They can usually be hand on e-bay, check these ones out: http://stores.ebay.com/dirtlys-Motorcycle-Parts-Store That's what I have.
  17. Cool man, thanks, lemme know, I also need a rear linkage, just the dogbone, not the connexcting rod, prefrably in great shape with good oil seals and everything!
  18. :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: I don't think BansheePro is allowed to use e-bay anymore. Shiat, gotta love that deal, I got a 89 Toyota 4x4 I'm selling, if I got 2 camels and 3 goats I'd be happier then a pig in shit. :yelrotflmao:
  19. Ok, I have wanted an R for a while know. Prefereably something in good shape, with a few mods, but nothing serious, unless of course youd want to trade something modded out for a mostly stock Banshee. It would help if you were within 4 or so hours of me too. So here's what I got: 2002 Yamaha Banshee, the bike in my sig. It has: +4 timing Lightened Flywheel FMF SST exhuast Body and Swingarm skids DG front bumper Razrs all around(fronts not shown) on aluminum rims 125PSI compression both cylinders, about 4 hours now on a top end re-build PRO Flow filter & Adapter AC Proline Nerfs Plastics in Awesome shape, all UFOs Bike has the stock gas tank on it now, but if it was a deal breaker, I could throw the OS tank back on. All Fluids changed the beginning of the season -1 Sprocket up front, but I have the stock one too Moose Racing Bars ProDesign Kill Switch Motion Pro Twist Throttle 270 Mains with 25 Pilots, carbs just cleaned, and synched Here's a few pics:
  20. Cool man, where in NY are you? I've been thinking about picking up another bike, my YZ250 was a blast to ride.
  21. Got any pics?
  22. Damn, if only you were closer to NJ, that is a sick sick R, I've been looking for a clean one for quite a while. Good luck with the sale!
  23. Hey, what's up, if anyone has the 2 front motor mounts, the ones up top on the front with 2 bolts going to the frame, and one bolt running through the engine, I need them, shoot me a price shipped to 08854. I also need the big bolt that goes through them. I had to cut mine out when I took my engine apart. Thanks guys!
  24. PM sent on tires!
  25. Nice! Congrats dude! They make some nice levers, I have a clutch lever from them, and I'm bout to buy the brake lever too.
