  1. Paint them pipes while you at it! I agree with the above posters, a Cheeta PV is NOT the way to go for MX. A set of ported stockers is better, the Cheetah cylinders even with the PVs, are all top end, you would have to spend a shit ton of money detuning them to even be able to keep up with an MX ported stocker on an MX track.
  2. Shouldnt it be 5^x * 125^(6x-5) or 5^x = 125^(6x-5)? It's hard to tell the way it's typed.
  3. That's an old trick, there arent any tires or wheels because there is something wrong with it, and if you rode it youd probably notice. Even with wheels, that thing is barely worth 2gs on a good day.
  4. I agree, didnt you check the parts when you got them? It may have been accidental, and I'm sure at least some of the people would have worked with you.
  5. Yeah, they are definately a bitch and a half to do. My stocker is laying behind my shed, I never could manage to get it apart. wound up buying a twin row carrier(has 2 bearings on each side) a G-Force axle, and used brake hub and disc. Then I coated the axle, and the sleeve inside with anti-seize and re-installed it. Not cheap, but the thing will come apart easy next time, and it should last a lot longer. If you have access to a press, that is the cheapest way to go, and then make sure you use anti-seize when you put her back together. The Yamaha delarship will most likely put it back together the same way the factory did, and youll have the same problem next time you want to change the bearings. (if you want to keep the bike that long)
  6. Cool sounds good. I did them once with a set of punches that I had, but it was a bitch and half since there are 2 bearings on either side, it was twice as hard as doing a stocker. I'll try the flat bar next time, if anyone knows where I can get one of those bearing punches/pullers though, I'd sure appreciate it, because the ones I have now for the front hubs work like a breeze.
  7. If you don't have any carbs right now, then yeah, you can't go wrong. They will add some seat of the pants power, little quicker through the gears, not a heck of a lot though, also, they are a little easier to work on then the stockers and an overall better design. The choke is a little tough to get used to because each carb has its own knob, I have small hands so its easy for me. From time to time you can find them used, I paid 175 for mine,or look for the CPW knockoffs on ebay for 200 brand new with jets and stuff.
  8. Yeah, it is pretty easy, make sure replace the clutch gasket also. You should probably consider buying a Clymers for the 30 clams or whaveter they go for now, that is one of the best investments you can make.
  9. Sent ya a PM John
  10. Gonna be real real tough to find, they dont make 'em anymore and there arent that many sets out there. I posted about them twice and got no reply. Good luck,
  11. Sick bike yo, really clean, bump for ya! Hit me up if you guys go ridin close to Jers.
  12. I was always hoping someone might make a removeable subframe for a shee. Would be a nice project. Then whenever you bend it, which you will, you can just ditch it, and put on a new one.
  13. On ebay every now and then CPW has 28mm carbs listed, they are a Keihin knock off, same casting and internals, just made by CPW, theyll be around 180 to 200 for a pair. The 28s dont really do a hell of a lot, I noticed a seat of the pants increase in power and that was it. They are also tough to get dialed in because nobody runs them, and everyone that does will tell you something different. As far as the "venturi stacks" sounds like a gimmic to me if its the same product im thinking of, but I dont know for sure.
  14. Not to get off topic, but I'd like to see some pics, I was thinking about doing that on the +2+1 arms I have, and the Fox shocks are the shit.
  15. Sure can, he must have forgotten to add what kind of powerbands he had in it.
  16. Anybody got a stock rad layin' around? I need one in great shape, NO bent fins. If you do hit me up,
  17. Hahaha, normally I would, but the new carrier I got is twin row, and they don't seem to budge... Anyone??
  18. Wow, sarcasm huh? Nope, my vote is clincaly retarded at best.
  19. Hey, what's up? I bought this bearing puller set http://www.pitposse.com/whbereset.html from Pit Posse a while back, works really well, but it doesnt have a puller for the rear carrier bearings. I'm not sure what size it is, probably 35 or 40mm, but I was wondering if anyone saw them anywhere. Thanks
  20. No when I had the powerbands installed I wasn't given spares, but they are not worn out I can email you pictures if you like. The bike was mainly used in shows and drag racing. The electric carb fuel injection can be plugged into a command box from Yamaha if you want additional speed for the ATV. I never needed it because it was fast enough with all the work I had done to the motor. :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: Fuckin good one.
  21. if u have 17,000 or near it then we chat... he's gonna be pretty lonely, it's tough to tell what he's got on there, but from the looks of it 7k is gonna be a stretch
  22. :yelrotflmao: Good one! It's not that tough, just don't wait too long to put it back together, youll forget where things go.
  23. black smoke, I'm guessing a Ford diesel, :yelrotflmao: awesome price by the way, 3200 is a STEAL for that setup
  24. Nice!!! Looks awesome, can't beleive I missed this thread before.
  25. I dont understand the question here, the bike sounds like it was out of gas, when you raise the revs it wants to put more fuel in, but you dont have any to put in, seems kinda simple. Youll know when you flood the carbs, youll see gas leaking out of the overflow tubes, and you'll smell it.
