  1. I have a 34mm pj I will sell ya, and I live in the same city as you.
  2. That is too much for my liking. I had a bike with that much squish about 8 months ago that the owner could not get to run right, and he said it did not have as much bottom end as it used to. I checked the squish and it was at about .062"! I tore it down and brought it down to .045" and it ran great.
  3. Your running a top end reed setup, a top end carb setup, and want to get pipes and ride trails. You have a few things that need to be switched around, not just the pipes.
  4. Yeah, I was watching some of the idiots in the campground at Sand Lake last weekend drifting around the corners and the entrance to the campground. They were just haulin ass with there paddles on the asphalt.
  5. I have them done at .060" on the bell, and just a scoche off the face of it as well.
  6. Thats not very long. I have to drive 5 hours to go to the nearest place I ride.
  7. I ride coos bay, winchester, florence, and sand lake all the time, my skat trak super light paddles are still ok.
  8. I have made some, but I like curve 3 alot.
  9. carbon tech low tension reeds, mid tensions, or boyeseen dual stage reeds.
  10. The pro circuit isn't even a top end pipe. The question should have been between like shearers, cpi's, pt high revs, and rockets. Then I would vote on CPI.
  11. What does this mean??????????????? I use custom made timing maps.
  12. Well if the guy before you didn't abuse them, then your doing it. Skat Trak paddle tires will last a very long time.
  13. fmf Gnarley, pro circuits, pt mids.
  14. Where these tires you bought used? I have had the same set of paddle tires for 3 years now.
  15. Pro circuits and pt high revs require two completely different types of exhaust duration. A lot of people work on the assumption that a trail pipe will kill the top end. I find it very much not noticeable when play riding. Obviously if you drag race someone with a decent mid-top setup they will out run you. I run a low-mid setup that is tuned extremely well, and when I play ride or even drag race it holds it own very well against most others setups that are quite the opposite. A perfect example of this stuff is guys who used to race in the mickey thompson series. They could take an mx tuned bike out to the dunes, and beat just about any other 250r up the hill racing. There is not really a way to gain top end without spending some money to keep the bottom end at least the same. Like switching to certain pipes, porting, and running a stroker crank. Once you start moving around exhaust durations, and switching to top end pipes, your lower power half is going to suffer. Do your homework, and make sure your motor owner knows that you can't trail ride a drag bike.
  16. I would ultimately base the decisions off the pipes your gonna run, as this effects maximum top rpm that the motor will achieve. I personally recommend much different pipes with 28mm carbs for an mx setup.
  17. use high heat silicone.
  18. Whats the compression on it? Any porting? What type of riding do you do?
  19. Why all the low-mid parts with a top end reed setup?
  20. Question was, can you do it? Answer is yes! Setup has to be right for it though. Like I said, I run curve 3 with 4 degrees of advance added to it. You run the right compression, squish, porting, pipes, and octane, you too can be as cool as me. It runs good that way. 5 degrees showed signs of detonation on the dyno. Yes, I did ride it to verify my findings. Snopczynski 4-24-09 in a hole Snopczynski side profile run 4-24-09 in a hole
  21. The repeaters have to be placed close enough to the signal to repeat it out as a good usable signal. If they are placed far away from the source, it will just repeat a low signal.
  22. Dont break the law, so they dont have to talk to you.
  23. pros= sounds cool. cons= it sucks at everything else.
  24. Yamaha Banshee Dynoport 2 into 1 pipe is brand new, gives the Banshee more low end thru power band to top end. False Pipe will make Banshee have high pitch sound like an indy car. True
  25. I ran 3 vision x solstice lights at Sand Lakes last weekend. It worked pretty damn well.
