  1. Im going there the week after Labor Day September 7th-12th.
  2. Shanes motor is running only 4 degrees of total advance over stock I believe, so if your running pump gas, servals don't like timing added to the curves in the dyna they already come with. We only manipulated and changed the curve progression, but did not add timing to them. The stock curve in a dyna comes advanced over what stock really is at high rpm, so you just need to take the dyna and bolt it on and run what they come with if your not changing the low-mid rpm curve progression.
  3. A single carb setup accelerates faster. Single carbs make a little more power on the bottom, but it was not noticeable to me compared to the twin carbs.. Twin carbs make a whole lot more power starting in the midrange on through to the top end.
  4. Shane runs a Dyna CDI on his 421 Serval on pump gas with no problems. It has a good 4 hours on the motor and puts down 80hp. Dyna ignitions work well, I would look elsewhere for your issue. If you think the cdi is bad, send it back to dyna to have it checked. We run 3 dyna cdi's and never have issues with them. I even run a dyna coil.
  5. We got 9 people going, sites 44,46,48.
  6. when you say plug into the harness, do you mean you are grounding one wire of the reg/rec to ground, and the other wire your trying to feed into the light 12v positive for the switch (yellow)?
  7. Dropped a Load--------vvvvvvv

  8. Shane has a slingshot, but Jeff at Fast advised him to try it without the slingshot first. So far no slipping.
  9. No, but 160-180 psi 50/50 race fuel 181+ full race fuel. This is also gonna depend on what timing you run. Approximate Cranking Compression These pressures are estimates based on fresh stock bore, piston, porting, and deck height. It is recommended to check your compression after installation. 10. You said you were worried about running race gas, you may be able to run 50/50 depending on your porting.
  11. You need to do a compression test, cause a ported motor will have different compression than a stock port motor because of the exhaust port height. One of the sponsors on here has jet specs for 34mm TM's, can't remeber who it is.
  12. We have 7mm re-sleeved cub motors running just heavy duty clutches without an issue, so I am not sure I feel the same way about the lockout. I am not gonna run one when I put in my Serval from everything I have seen on Shane's motor so far.
  13. It is still 2 weeks away. Weather man can't even predict the weather 48 hours out accurately on the coast.
  14. Cascades single carb intake is pretty much the same thing as the trinity single carb intake. Nothing new there, it has been the same for about 6 years now.
  15. jeff at FAST advised against the lockout and said to see how it did with just the clutch unless we were going to make the serval have a ton of hp and torque. The lockout will add bite, but its also going to add rotating weight to that clutch basket assembly. What is your serval setup like?
  16. Shane is running a FAST clutch with no lockout on his Serval, and there hasn't been an issue with slippage so far.
  17. Everybody remeber they need to get their Oregon ATV Licenses. Ree Ree, have they been enforcing that and cracking down on it yet?
  18. It is probably a mid-top pipe, they dont make the greatest mid-top pipes. I would run a set of cpi's or shearers before I would run those.
  19. 44, 46, and 48. arriving friday night, leave on Tuesday.
  20. I still need a cheap frame.
  21. Last one I bought a few weeks ago was a 200w reg/rec unit on Amazon.com
  22. Fill your tank to the top, then drain the gas into a graduated container with the fuel petcock set to just "on". Check how many gallons it is in the container that drained out in just the on settiing. Then measure out your oil for that many gallons, and keep it with you. When you hit reserve and go to the gas station, just put in exactly how many gallons you originally found that drained out, and put the oil in as well. You should have pretty close to a full tank of fuel at that point + or - what was left in the reserve section of the tank.
  23. ground the e-brake wire, sounds like the limiter is activated. Your jetting is way off too!
