  1. 13w hid like trail tech's mr11 is around that lumen output (900 lumen).
  2. not really. They both suck ass.
  3. I did contribute something positive, you decided it wasn't what you wanted to do.
  4. yeah, there was a thread on here about 2 weeks ago about it.
  5. Not too sure what you mean? Example?
  6. There are better pipes out there for a stock banshee in the power range of this pipe. Let the thread die.
  7. This seems like a huge waste of time. Its your life though.
  8. here search result
  9. You should just save your money and buy something worth a shit, your wasting your time on trying to buy these super white halogen bulbs. If your really a serious night rider, then you need to get a better lighting setup.
  10. they can be bored. Thats close for the setup. There is a thread on here for exacts. If its sea level I would put a bigger main in.
  11. What mods are done to your bike? There is no such thing as an all around pipe, so your going to need to pic a power area and go after the best pipe for that range.
  12. stock is 12v ac. doing a bulb conversion with a ballast is too bulky to be worth it for hid's. The Solstice LED light puts out 900 lumens, and the spots project just as far as an equivelant outpu HID light does.
  13. I think thats a horribly dark picture
  14. its usually caused by dry fasteners or improper torque, check everything.
  15. What is the stated lumen output?
  16. Just do "Bandaid Beige"
  17. To be brighter than stock they need to be a center led in a reflector with about a 10w led bulb in them.
  18. No thats an LED bulb. Its not going to be as bright as halogen mr16 bulbs. LED's can be brighter, but not in MR16 form yet.
  19. nope, they make mr16's for houses and not cars or off road lights. So no other available color temperatures.
  20. use the search, the info is on the forum.
  21. X2 WTF? You also have to run a battery or a capacitor to handle the startup draw on the HID lights.
  22. You can run led lights and use less wattage, with less heat, at a still very high lumen output.
  23. Cascade dips them all the time. You heat it up with a heat gun and bend the ears in. They do this with the cover off.
  24. I had a rough time getting my rear apart, it wasn't possible for me to get the spring compressed far enough to get the "c" cup out. Now I can put all the shocks back together with the tool and not scratch the spring either.
  25. The "L" bracket that compresses the spring is angled, it sits on a pivot (1/2" grade 8 bolt thats finger tight).
