  1. http://www.carbparts.com/keihin/needles_tuning/pj.htm
  2. use the right sized socket and pull it out. Dont strip the head.
  3. you unscrew the bolt retainer in the top of the slide, and the needle falls out through the top.
  4. I dont recommend the 2 into 1. Specs are the same for all the keihins as a base line, only differences may be with elevation.
  5. Well for a trail bike you usually wouldnt run vf3 reeds and dmc pipes.
  6. you have kind of a funny setup, none of it is really centralized for power. 195 main, 42-45 pilot, eej or eek needle in center clip. A/f screw 1.5 turns out.
  7. Do you already have the setup?
  8. Is there compression in the questionable cylinder?
  9. I also live up Near Seattle and give Coos Bay my vote as well. I am also going to coos bay in a couple weeks. Make sure there is plenty of notice for the trip. I would probably do a poll so people could vote on the weekend to go. I can't go in mid may we have a giant sale at work that I have to be around for. Go ahead and pick the general month and area to go. We will add a poll after that to fine tune the date for the most popular picks.
  10. For the most part motor size doesn't really matter. The chart is a basis to get a baseline jetting setup put in your carbs. Every bike is different and has to be ridden and fine tuned. If you look through the postings you can tell which bikes have more done than others, and being at around 10 pages long it is an ectrmely useful tool.
  11. 42 pilot, and 195 main jet with a EEJ or EEK needle (center clip). Air screw at 1.5 turns to start. elevation will vary these specs.
  12. I saw a bike with a wiseco crank do that. We had to replace the cases to get the thing to quit seizing.
  13. I sell the lights, they are made by vision x. They run $19 each.

  15. Maxima MTL 85w endurance, takes 1.8 bottles.
  16. I started the campaign last night, its pretty cool. The game mechanics are a lot like call of duty, the AI is a little more realistic though.
  17. The mikuni pocket tuner is a wonderful tool for elevation and temperature references from your current jetting.
  18. I played the beta a few months back. It was fun, but it was definitely rough.
  19. gnarley is a low-mid pipe, and fatty is a mid-top pipe. Both go with port jobs, it just depends on the port job. There is no such thing as an all around pipe. A list of mods, riding type, and desired power output level would be needed to determine the best pipe.
  20. I picked it up last night but had Garage Times and never got to play it. Anyone play it yet? If so what did you think?
  21. Why is this in the sand forum?
  22. is the measurement to the top of the float on this one?
  23. The spacers add mid and take away top, so if you dont ride trail, then you dont need to run them as a performance part.
  24. Anyone got the stock carb float height spec? I dont have my manual with me and need it.
  25. Well carry on then. I dont ever do plug chops, I just jet by plug color and feel. Some of these guys do it though and should be able to tell you accurately how they did it.
