yes. Put in a 3/8" spacer and move it to the side of the reed closest to the carb. You will see a small top end hp gain

You guys dont even know if he asking about 2 stroke oil or transmission oil. Before you go making suggestions, you need the answer to that question.

Spacers add midrange power when you space out the reed. You go too far, and it increases the crankcase volume quite a bit, thus not making the cycle efficient. Regardless of what it does, running spacers on a motor with cpi's is going in the wrong direction.

Dont ever use pennzoil in anything.

I like the cpi alot more than the T5's for a mid-top pipe. For what your doing I would get an mx port, nothing much over 190 degree exhaust duration at most. Then a set of dual stage carbon fiber reeds, compression bumped to 155-160psi (dome size depends on Porting)then slap a set of Pro circuits on it. Round that out with about 3-4 degrees of timing advance. That will make a nice little start for ya.

I recommend the Mr. Gasket Thermocap. Cheap, reliable, easy to install, and accurate.
