  1. how big is your battery? Whats the rating?
  2. Use the search, or scroll down in the jetting section. There are already active threads about the very same question. Search Results
  3. How old is it? I ask because any of wisecos recent cranks in the last few years, I would not own. I have seen several issues with them.
  4. If your not riding like an asshole they may leave you alone. Repack the stuff and dont tear ass through the campground or the trail out and they may just leave you alone completely.
  5. Now it looks like my cousin has the weekend of the 16th off. So does that work for anyone? Remember you can delete your vote and re-vote. Does anyone want to do it from friday or Saturday through monday? It is sometimes nice being there at the beginning of the week, then no one at all will even be there.
  6. You guys have to just delete your vote and then re-vote for the options you want on the poll since I added a poll question.
  7. Thats the lumen rating PIAA stated for the H6M Xtreme White bulbs they make for the banshee. The Chart is not poor marketing because Vision X is a Huge HID manufacturer and retailer, they even outfit a pretty decent majority of the off road racing rally cars and trophy trucks with HID and LED lighting. They are just as big into HID as LED. I have even bought several HID setups from them for my Rhino, trucks, and quads. However, one thing I dont believe in is buying cheap lighting products, in the end, you always get what you pay for.
  8. Not too sure what you mean, this chart basically dis-proved one of your earlier statements about a 35 watt halogen being 1,015 lumens=which would be 29 lumens per watt.) One huge thing your leaving out here is the way lower power draw of LED's, the way lower operating temperature of LED's, and the way higher life expectancy of LED's over any of these other setups. Why is that chart poor marketing?
  9. is it a newer wiseco crank or an older one? How old is the crank?
  10. I was doing a bench test, thats how I found out. Halogens on Average Actually produce only 12-14 lumens per watt in MR16 bulbs like the ones everyone uses in the trail tech lights. Standard banshee housings using the H6M Halogen are only about 700-750 lumens, an aftermarket piaa bulb in 4000k xtreme white would be around 1,000 lumens. The stock housings are so bad though, that even a trail tech light works better than a stock housing with piaa bulbs in it.
  11. The more you pay for lighting, the better logevity and performance you will get from the product.
  12. I have seen a stock housing with a 35 watt hid conversion in them, and it started to melt the reflector in the housing. So I am gonna go with "I think HID bulbs get hotter than Halogen bulbs".
  13. I cant really make any weekend in May except Memorial weekend (which I have reservations for at Horsefall). If Everyone else decides to do it on Memorial Day weekend, there is a strong possibility that not everyone that wants to go will get campsites. All the campgrounds are pretty much sold out for holiday weekends 6 months in advance for state or national ran sites, and over a year out for private ran sites. I vote for April 28th-May 1st and stay at Horsefall in Coos Bay. We make the trip there every year at that time and about 2/3 of them have been rain free. Best part about that range is there are usually not too many people there and sites are easy to get. I just have too much going on at work to make it in may or early june-mid june.
  14. This one kid roll started me 3x on memorial day one year. I just sat there each time he did it, and watched him ride up the hill. On the 4th time he pulled up and turned to me, then I took off and blasted up the hill. Fucking idiot, I hope he reads this on here.
  15. Use them as boat anchors!
  16. This is a little off subject, but what is with guys down at boxcar hill rolling the line down off the berm, and then gunning it right when they get next to you as your sitting still? Are they just that much of a prick that they cant stop and start at the same time as you to drag race up the hill? Are they just trying to get an edge over you?
  17. If you use heat on a set of new plastics it will actually haze them and make them look less shiny than they were. Heat is for getting rid of stretch marks only!
  18. Just wanted to point out that they require an Oregon state atv license for EVERYONE under 40 years old as of January 1st 2011. It is for anyone who rides an atv at the Oregon Dunes now. You can take the test online and have the card mailed to you. There are also sound decibal restrictions at the dunes. I have not been sound tested since about 1994, so if you dont draw attention to yourself, you should be fine. There is no alcohol on the sand, on pavement your good to go. You have to have a license tag on your quad to ride, oregon atv permits are about $11 and are active for 2 years. You cant drive your truck or quad on the sand without a license tag and flag. So you have to have an Oregon ATV education License, and have an oregon atv permit license on your quad and/or truck. Get your license here* Oregon pipe sound db tests Oregon Dunes general rules
  19. The needle doesn't determine the power band, the parts and mods do. He needs to get the taper matched to what's done on the bike.
  20. You wont get an accurate color. My bike runs perfect and my plugs are white with a small section of tan coloring. I would try 42 pilot, eek needle center clip, 190 main jet, set the float height (11mm I think), and 1 turn out on the air screw. As starting specs.
  21. Whats your elevation and full list of what is done to the bike? You have to jet by feel.
  22. The info is on the forum if you use the search for base jeting. You cant read plugs if your running race fuel.
  23. They stated somewhere earlier they would only make stock stroke and 4mm servals.
