  1. no, but they do the same thing.
  2. So I get a phone call from the neighbor last week and he asks me what I think of trinity. So I tell him they build over priced mediocre engines that aren't fast for what they are. He then tells me one of our friends brother is looking at a Stage IV fully built banshee. I told him, dont buy it, find something built by someone else. So, I talk to the neighbor a few days later and he says the guy bought something with pipes and a cool head and some bolt ons. So I get to the dunes last weekend, and walk over to this guy and see his new bike has Stage IV exhaust on it, I kneel over and there is Stage IV scribed in the cylinder. I walk off and later on I see him out in the sand on it. I ask my cousin to race me so the guy will see us and come over to race. Its my Stock Stroke, stock bore, stock crank ported 350 (dual tm 28mm carbs and pro circuits and more bolt ons) against my cousins .80 over 4mill with pro circuits and a 36mm lectron ( + bolt ons). I am pulling dead even with my cousin and leading him by 1/4 length some races. Jake comes over and races us. He leads me at about 125 yards by 1/2 a bike length on that trinity bike. We stop and he says so do you think its fast. I say well what is done to the motor. He tells me it is a 4mill long rod 421 cc stroker with 38mm pwk carbs and he has vforce 2's with a dyna cdi. I tell him its not fast for what it is. He then learns that my bike is a ported 350 and the smile on his face disappears. The moral of the story here is dont spend money with trinity, they will fucking rip you off. They guy he bought that bike from had a $4800 bill from trinity. It got tailgated by a ported 350 with about $2000 in motor work done to it. Trinity is for kids, you silly adults. I ride the trinity bike and its all top end. My bike comes on hard at about 6500 rpm and only makes power to 8700 rpm. So, I am drag racing a 9500+ rpm motor with a midrange built 8700 rpm motor and riding his ass.
  3. I have never seen a bad cdi box personally. Most of the time its a bad stator, stator pickup, or a wiring harness cross short.
  4. my bike ran pretty good last weekend with the dyna coil on it.
  5. eej needle, not eej needle jet.
  6. What needle? Your pilot is too big also.
  7. Your borderline needing 50/50 racew gas, I would check the squish and make sure the gauge is working ok.
  8. It didn't even dawn on me it had already been a year that I have had to deal with these idiots thinking a 4 stroke banshee was coming out. This isn't the first time they have had a banshee april fools joke. Anyone have the april issue from around 2000-2002 range?
  9. I almost fell out of my chair laughing on that one.
  10. Is your motor a ported stroker? Probably not, so at 362cc you dont need to worry still. They make a difference on lets say 373cc and bigger with port work and a stroker. Thats the last time I am gonna say it.
  11. It was probably ran on a chassis dynojet. Those things can be in-accurate up to 20%, so around 43-46 hp sounds right for an actual number.
  12. Banshee flywheel. With additional lightening service and paint. Auction Link
  13. My stock ported engine with a single 35mm pwk carb, 20cc domes, carbon tech reeds and a dynoport 2 into 1 pipe made 56 hp peak at 9k rpm. Which fmf pipes? They make 5 different pipes for a banshee. Which boost bottle was it, the graydon proline or white brothers? That $30 for a boost bottle should have went into lightening the flywheel or putting on a timing advance plate instead.
  14. Not true, they will also add mid-top power on a larger cc engine with a port job and stroker crank.
  15. PLug coming out was probably detonation. I mix at 16 oz to a 5gal can. I just dump a whole 16oz bottle of 927 in my can. I thinks its around 44:1 or so. The flywheel now has to be lapped to the crank, Then when you go to put it on you heat it up briefly with a torch on the center hub and slide it on the crank. I zip the nut on with a 1/2" impact and loctite blue the nut on.
  16. The fact you just told us the banshee guru put a boost bottle on it makes me think he is a fucking idiot.
  17. Using the standard dyna curves right now.
  18. I ran the bike with the dyna cdi on it and it would die after revving it up and letting it idle back down. If you set the idle real high it would stay running. I put the stock cdi back on and everything runs ok, it does not die after revving it up. Any ideas here? Did I miss something on the install or when programming it? I am also using a dyna coil, but it runs ok with the stock cdi in it also.
  19. Pro circuits will make more torque. Ditch the 2 into 1 and run dual 28mm flat slides. Torque difference will be unnoticeable and the twins will make about 4-5 more hp at peak rpm.
  20. You do know the banshee has 2 rear tires and not one right?
  21. It does not increase low end power. It maintains peak rpm and power easier for racing mx and staying on the pipe. Technically its a mid-top pipe that peaks at 9k rpm according to all the dyno testing I have done.
  22. Are you using the factory puller or a jaw type puller?
