  1. See the 450's are new to me, My bike was in pieces for over a year, over here where I live the 450's just starting getting popular.. MJ do yoiu think a piped shee will hang with a modded 450 with more than just a pipe...She I dont know how they react to a pipe bc My buddy that rides with me, you prob seen him at coal hill has a stock 450 and I dont think they are anything special...
  2. Id rather not have to mess with the springs... Will the softer springs that Jeff sells make that big of a difference? also I didnt get to ride it yet with the bigger carbs, but when I started it, shee sounded different with the bigger carbs, deaper, louder and MEANER.. Is that normal for bigger carbs to make the shee sound different? Also, what material had to be grinded on the throttle to get full WOT?
  3. I agree with what you said about beating most 450's Yea but how often do you think that you are goin to come cross your weekend warrior rocking a 600 kit.. I kno that around here, I dont have to worry about that..
  4. MJ I say you hold on to that beast and you rock that bitch till the wheels fall off at the coal mines
  5. well last weekend was only my 2nd trip out with the fresh build, ran into some kid on a 450r with hrc kit, pipe, head work and some other shit.. He was a nice kid should us acouple of nice place to ride where we where at... anyways we where all talkin and the e says let line em up.. OKAY, lined em up from the start we where neck to neck and then I started pulling him hard in third, he couldnt catch up I kept pullin and pullin.. than raced him on his boys shee that was bored .50 over with T5's beat him on that.. we where getting ready to leave and he said lets give it a run one more time but from a rolling start.. that was even worse for him, he really had no shot, from 2nd on I just kept pulling him.. Im only bored .20 over and Im ported.. 15/40 gearing and +2 swingarm so I wasnt wheeling, really helps keeping the power down...
  6. Man what bad timing,I just got in from putting on my 33pwk and I need some stuff and was goin to send jeff an email.. Well I understand that he has some more important things goin on.. I hope everyone on here from kansas is okay and gets up and running soon... and also STAYS WARM......
  7. So I slapped my 33's on tonight just to see whats up and what I need, how they fit etc..... I have brand new ss throttle cable, I adjusted them so they where in sync. Why is the throttle so hard to push? what can I do to help this? Please help guys, I cant see riding it like this all day. Also I am running my airbox, is there any tips to make it fit alittle better.. I have all ready cut the little tabs off in the front of the air box and frame...
  8. Yea 350 are way to big.. I started mine jetting at 350 when I got my motor back from Passion with a hot mx port and some other stuff.. But I ended up with a 330 or 340 dont remember.. You should be around 290-310 start with the 310 and do a plug chop...
  9. What color are the powerbands on that bitch?
  10. make sure the choke tube is on... Im guilty of forgetting that acouple of times..
  11. Okay Im at sea level, I had similiar mods T5s v-force reeds no lid on airbox, vented out.. I ran 310 main and stock pilot.. 240 is WAY lean, start with aleast 300, its pretty cold there might even wanna start alittle bigger and work your way down...
  12. Here you go guys, I have th same swingarm on my banshee, its also from the ebay guy and its +2, but mine is chrome, heres some pics for you guys.. Its a nice swingarm,Nice welds, Im happy with it, for the price cant really go wrong...
  13. So how much are you looking to get for the rear tires and wheels? shipped to 10304
  14. Where all these parts powdercoated? what is done to the motor? what bore is it on? whats the compression? Also how for the rear tires and wheels?
  15. I should have mine tom, Ill let everyone know how it is.. maybe even shoot some pics and show you guys....
  16. I agree with you.. If you can tie it in nice then go for it..I love my kit, I wish I could find it bc I would buy another one... When i bought the bike It was on, Its pretty old but it still looks clean.. The duncan looks sweat though, Id go for it.. The bikes in your sign look real nice..
  17. Alot of people will tell you that they like the clean look with no stickers or anything.. I peronally like a nice sticker kit.. Not to much though, like going down the back fenders and all, but seat cover, gas tank grill and front plastics looks real nice.. That duncan should look real nice on you shee..
  18. I have a set of reds in good shape off my 00..55 shipped through shock covers on them and the color dont matter.. Mine where always ridden with shock covers, protects them nice, they have no chips just wear from the covers rubbing on them... I believe I have all mounting hardware as well...
  19. I agree with the above,, there are alot of guys on this site that have some port work and other nice mods and are still rocking stockers, including myself... Save your money, bump your compression, get some v-force reeds, what till your ready for a rebuild then get some porting and bigger carbs.. If you do a search timing advance is suppose to be a great mod for the shee and it is very cheap... timing plate 35 and puller 15... I do agree that th stockers are a POS but if you are a weekend warrior and you get the jetting real close they will be just fine for now...
  20. Jared I believe that these are the carbs you sold on here last year.. Can you help me out and give me some info on them and how this will affect me... what is the best way to make sure the floats are performing properly? thanks Joseph sorry for the double thread, I will ask loco to take care of this for me...
  21. Can someone tell me where I can get replacments, also what else I will have to replace?
  22. Thanks guys, I already sent him a pm and a email.. He is a member on here, If we work something out and he makes this right then kool, if not I will let everyone know whats up....
  23. Yea my builder gave me a starting point, Im more concerned about the float problem right know.. I dont know if I can leave it like that right know or I have to buy new floats.. when the carbs are up side down and the bowls are off and I push on the float or tap them, there is no play or anything, its like they are sitting on the bottom of the bowl...they just dont seem right..Isnt there suppose to be alittle bounce or something
  24. Kryptonite sell very good and safe stuff. I know they sell a 25-30 ft cable my cousin bought one for his bought or something..Just have to buy a lock as well.. that would work feed it through all the bikes and then around a tree or something else safe and secure... Sucks that we have to go through all this bc of the scumbags pieces of shit out there... Good luck man
  25. Ok the float was removed for more fuel, will this affect the carb? how so? also what would I have to do as far as jetting?
