  1. I dont think he could go up much more. 8 rippers is like 11 paddle haulers. Definatley a sweet deal though!!
  2. If he did actually get the frame from the dealer, you wont find anything on the frame. We had a stamp set at the dealer to put VIN's on new frames.
  3. Well alot depends on what type of riding you plan on doing along with what type of porting you plan on getting. The 28's would be the better choice for trails and all around riding (low end power) while the 34's would be better suited for applications that use more top end power such as dune riding TT racing and drag racing. But the 34's will be too big for your current set up.
  4. You still got that swinger?? I figured it be gone by now! If you still have it in a few weeks I'll get with ya about it!
  5. Yes you can.. But how far I dont know.
  6. Why can't you use the linkage? Did Brad cut the tabs?
  7. I used to run them in my dune motor.. didn't notice any power gains or easier starting.. Just a thinner wallet after I left the store.
  8. maybe the needle and seats are hanging up in the closed position.?
  9. I use the woco hoses.. They were kinda pricey but.. I like them.
  10. Dave show me a pic of sand mountain.. You guys dont know how lucky you are to have places like that near you. You should see our sand box that we like to call dunes!!
  11. Not much of a pick up line.. but he did manage to get her phone number with it. Went out on a bachelor party and my brother inlaw went up this girl and said "I bet you $1 i can touch your boobs without touching your shirt" She said "no way.. I'll take that bet" Then he just grabed ahold of her tits and said "Well.. I lost, here's your dollar.." You should have seen the look on her face!!
  12. What they all said.
  13. you know its bad when they get better health care then our own citizens..
  14. Nice!
  15. Thats a new one.. I'd get a timing plate and have the head milled and rechambered. That'll be the best bang for the buck!
  16. I live in michigan but I wouldn't be of much help.. I dont usually ride my banshee in the winter. But my 450 I usually go up 2 sizes in the mians one size in the pilot and drop the clip 1 position. That usually works for me for 30-40 degree weatther
  17. On another note.. I dont have any pics but I can kinda explain it a lil bit. After you remove the float bowl the first thing you'll see is a white splash guard that surrounds the Main jet. The Main jets is a brass hexagon and is a 6mm head (I might be wrong on the size) After you remove the main jet and splash shield you notice a hole right next to the main jet. The splash guard had a section that seated in that hole. This is where the pilot jet is located. You'll need a small straight screw driver to remove it. the other stuff you see is going to be the needle and seat assembly. Thats the quick version of it. You'll have to get a service manual for a more detailed version.. Or maybe someone else will chime in with some pics.
  18. I bought a service manual CD from ebay. for like 7.00. Its identical to the ones we use at the dealer.
  19. Send a PM to Dajogejr, He uses a LSR drag axle and last I knew he wasn't having anyproblems with his.
  20. I think the 33's would be over carbed on a stock motor, I didn't like the lack of bottom end and for trail riding.. that sucks.. I like the 28's better. They had alot better throttle response. You can get used 28 pwks off ebay. They came stock on alot of the smaller 80 and 85cc dirt bikes. You can probably get them for around 50.00 a carb. Just make sure you do your research and make sure you know what carb came stock on certain year bikes.
  21. I put a nut on the end of the axle to protect the threads.. Of course the nut will be junk when your done. But it'll save you about 90.00 from taking it to the dealer.
  22. JJ&A start at 180.00. But if you go to there garage sale section they got some used ones and refurbs for 95.00. Probably the cheapest place to get them would be Ebay. I got mine for brand new for 100.00
  23. Remove the drain bolt and weld it shut. Then Slightly bend the actuator arm down. Thats what I did on my 35 PWK's
  24. The mikuni's still have to be modified but the dump tubes are replaceable where the keihin's are not. I dont know about the tuning of the mikuni.. I was just getting started on tunning my cousin's TMX carbs before he moved on 1200 miles on me.
