  1. Me too, GYT-R by hinson. 120.00 on ebay
  2. hmmm... Crown....
  3. Ok.. yeah Dan only used struts on them and only used them for 1 day at the track so he didn't have much time to work with them. But like firehead said. I'd find a stock tierod end and see if it threads match. If it fits, buy a set from RMATV.
  4. sounds like a deal!
  5. Not to hi-jack or anything.. but.. Kiel did you need some more rougue? I got some a few small boxes of tripoli and white rouge that'd Id send ya if you coulld use it.. I'm not going to use it..
  6. Its a "skid Plate" its meant to protect the sprocket from logs, rocks, shit like that.. Polaris uses them on their quads last I knew.. but I havn't looked at them in a long while so they might have changed..
  7. I could shorten it up for ya.. but then you'd have a chode banshee! lol That thing done yet?
  8. I'll put the 4fidy in and you guys can watch me!
  9. Thanks for that info Dave, Yeah.. I should post some pics of his bike some time.. It started out as a $700 project I bought. It was a ratted out 01' with a locked motor. I really didn't care what condition it was in.. so I sent the wife to go pick it up. I wish I would went.. I forked a ton into that thing to get it rideable again.. I didn't realize someone could jack up a banshee that bad! it was horrible.. Bent frame, bent arm's, bent stem, bent everything.. the damn plastic wouldn't even sit right... My wife asked him if it was ever wrecked or rolled.. The guy said "well he hit a few trees but I dont think he ever rolled it" lol
  10. lol if you saw his bike.. you wouldn't want the nice head either.. it'd make the rest of the bike look like shit! lol
  11. My brother inlaw should be ordering his next week. I'm sure it'll be nice.
  12. It would be safe to run 21cc's at sea lvl. Assuming stock port timing, compression should be around 155ish with 21cc domes. Of course timing would be a factor also. Should be safe witha 4 degree advance.
  13. Not trying to be a ass.. But you really should resize your sig. Thats beyond huge.
  14. I've used the magnum basket and it seems to be just as good as the hinson's and alot easier on the wallet. The barnett baskets look interesting... I've never used one and I dont know anyone who has though. I can't see spending 500 bucks on a Hinson inner hub and pressure when you can spend 50 on the OEM parts and they work just as well. The Tusk kits do seem to be holding well. I've used them in a few bikes now and they seem to be working well..
  15. Just figured I start this thread to see when everyone will be in silver lake. Thought it might help some people plan trips when others will be there. I'll be there memorial Day weekend at teh state park, June 26th thru the 29th at the state park, July18th thru the 27th at jellystone, and Labor Day weekend probably Val-du. I'll probably go more with some other people.. Just dont know the dates yet.
  16. Yeah.. I agree with ya. There are days when I wish I had a 10mil though!... I have a feeling I'll be seeing alot of those days next year when everyone is running 3's except me! Oh well.. i guess I'll know how big I have to go by the end of season!! lol
  17. True.. But, I would think a pipe deisigned for one motor (bore and stroke) would be the best performing pipe for that motor. The 421 will probably be the most popular motor for a while and would offer the biggest market for a motor specific pipe. When you start getting into the big bores your in a much wider range of motor configurations (bore and stroke) The R&D on designing those pipes would be very long and extensive not to mention you'd have to make the pipe perfrom ona wider range of motors. I think Jim is on the right track here. Probably once the 421 cub market falls through he'll move on to the next biggest bang for the buck and focus on that. Most people can't justify spending 3k on a motor for a quad.. And then there's us.. But a stamped inframe for the cub might be a good idea to go with the drag pipe. I just like to see more options then shearer and CPI.
  18. swinger looks to be setup for a link..
  19. I dont think he'll be making a big bore pipe anytime soon. I'm pretty sure he's focusing on the 421 cub and squeezing what ever he can from that one motor. I would think that a pipe designed for the 421 cub would see similar gains on all 421 cubs reguardless of porting because they all start with the same port layout and arn't changed very drasticly compared to the stock cylinders. But.. then again I'm not a pipe desinger or a builder.... sooo.. This is my hypotheical opinion.
  20. You gotta pic of it installed on the bike? Whats the shock length? Maybe take a measure ment from the pivot tube to the mounting eye's.. and compare them to another swinger?
  21. Its available.. Look into the Viper Sleeves from Lakes Motorsports.
  22. I wouldn't recommend using the cascade stuffers unless your intakes manifolds dont match the VF3 stuffer. Cascade designed the stuffers to use with there 2 into 1 set-ups. If your looking to get a new set of manifolds the BOSS and Whitekuckle are the way to go.. The built in corssover tube is nice and they make for a clean look. The whiteknuckle intakes match the VF3 stuffer so there would be no need to get the cascade stuffers. But if you get the BOSS racing intake you might have to..
  23. Funny thing.. SeaDoo issued a service bulletin/recall awhile back when the 4tec's first came out.. They forgot to tighten the oil drain bolts. lol so people would get them and take off on the water and then the drain bolt falls out and burn up the motor. Some pretty stupid stuff comes out of them Skidoo/seadoo factory's... Got lots more story's about the sleds.. but I wont go into detail.
  24. check your local dealer, I know mine stocks a shit load of fuel line. Parts unlimited sells a few different brands. Stock size for the fuel line should be 1/4". I'm using 5/16 and it likes to leak a bit on me sometimes.
  25. perry much what everyone esle said. I like to change the top end every season.. Keep an eye on the compression.. when it drops past a certain point.. Time for a rebuild. That point will vary from motor to motor depending on what the compression was when you started. But there is soo many variables....
