  1. Its probably just all bolt on mods. Pipes, filter, reeds and jetted. Sounds like a pretty decent deal for the price. My first quad was a banshee too and you had more riding experience then me. you'll be fine.
  2. probably only need a bore job and some pistons.. you'll know more once you get the cylinders pulled off and look them over. i'm not sure what the price difference would be but over here you should beable to get it all done for under $300 US. After you pull the cylinders off your going to need to measure the bore to find out what size pistons you'll be needing.. (depending on the damage) then once you get the pistons you just take the pistons in with the cylinders, or if you dont trust anyone local you can always send them out with the pistons to be bored.
  3. Or maybe just some bed wetting!! LOL :yelrotflmao: Party in Boo's trailor!!! lol
  4. I dont think you'll see/feel much of a improvement with your motor/setup.. The VF cages really start to shine on the drag ported and bigger built motors that call for more air/fuel. I had a mild build dune shee and switched from boyesen reeds to VF2's and I didn't see/feel any gain.. Dyno might have showed something.. but didn't feel anything by the seat of the pants..
  5. I'd add Vito's to that list.. If those are 69mm bores vito's has the pistons for them.
  6. I agree Dave, It wouldn't be the same without seeing the Havoc bikes run down the track. I got alky covered if you need that. I'll be bringing down about 30 gallons or so if anyone from our crew needs some. I got a extra 1000 watt generator. If anyone needs ANYTHING let us know and we'll do what we can!.
  7. Just outa curiosity.. Why would you want a single A-arm style chassis for duning?
  8. It brings pain too when the wife busts your balls after she sees the bank account! ::
  9. I do too.. and a new swingarm!
  10. Going to have to get with Dave @ Noss and find out if he makes domes for the 69mm bore.. I know Trinity heads go bigger.. but i'm not sure how far past 68mm the Noss domes go.
  11. Unless you got a heavily modded dunner or drag bike the VF3's are a overkill.. A good set of reeds on the stock cages will do the trick. I prefer the boyessen Pro series (dual stage) reeds myself.. But everyone will have their preference.
  12. I got plenty of Booze! For us and the bikes!! lol
  13. Let me know if theres anything I can do to help you out. I was looking forward to drinkin with ya till 4am again and watchin JT fall asleep while standing up. lol
  14. I agree, I like the lil 4mils. Bigger isn't always better. There ya go greg.. quote that for your sig!
  15. LOL parts not fitting right?? I've never had that problem right Dave!? lol Frame, motor, Radiator, gas tank, carbs, throttle cable, seat, swingarm, bushings. I got more on my list but thats a few of them lol. Just the name of the game bro. I find it relaxing to work on my bike. Me and my cuz used to go to the garage and just sit in our thinking chairs and look at our bikes and talk about them for like an hour.. then finally get to work.. Good times, Its too bad he moved to Florida on me.
  16. Heard this race is going to be huge this year! Just wanted to see who was all going to make it.
  17. Hey.. if I wasn't gettin it dirty.. someone had too! lol
  18. Not sure on the Dogs Lindsey, Might want to send quadkiller on PS a pm and find out. I found out my father inlaws was at his cabin in the UP.. so that one is out. I guess worst case scenario if your close enough to my hauler you could plug in a run off our generator. I'll keep looking for a generator for ya..
  19. I'll see what I can come up with. I know my father in-law has a Honda gen. and I got a small 1000w 2-stroke thats kinda quite.. I'll do some searchin for ya!! What all do you guys run off one? Just wondering how big I should be looking for?
  20. What about the Moose 200w stators through Parts-Unlimited?
  21. lol I heard about it.. I heard that the rental shop better have some good insurance!! lol
  22. Heres some pics of some of the 450's Not many 4-strokes race with the bigger bikes. They usually run against equally built 4-strokes or the mild banshee builds. There was a turbo'd yfz450 and a few streetbike powered quads but I didn't get any pics. I left the vid cam in the trailor so I didn't get much video and the ones I got dont have sound.
