I think if your gonna be like that about it.. Put your money where you mouth is and race one of these Dr.Q bikes... I've seen a few run over here and some how I think your pocket will be feeling a bit empty..

If your launching in 3rd gear.. I think you need to change your gearing. But.. No. Launching in 3rd wont hurt the clutch. But. If you have weak springs, incorrect adjustment, or worn components thats allowing you to launch in 3rd... Then that definitely needs to be taken care of.

Might be wrong.. But I think that is another one of CFM's user names..... It dont sound like too many people are having good dealings with him right now..

A round house carrier is the way to go. the only con is that you have to buy a new carrier.. I'll never own another stock carrier assembly. It makes sprocket changes a breeze, chain adjustments take about 5min... if that. They give the bike a nice and clean look.

havn't seen that paticular chassis run... but i have seen other lay down chassis's run before.. Most of the one's I see use snowmo motors and are trikes.

I got an idea... why not just buy rims with more offset? you said you have 18k into a banshee.. whats $60?

They do the same thing here.. Run the quads and Jr. dragsters 1/8 mi.

I've never had good luck with the seals in them kits.. Everything else in the kits work great. but for some reason the seal almost seems too big and I could never get the cap/seal on the swinger.. I buy OEM seals now and it goes together like butter.

I use the EK SRK X-ring chain right now.. I probably should use a non o-ring chain for what I do.. but... I'm lazy and dont like to clean and lube my chain much.. lol I've only had one failure with the EK chain.. but it was 100% my fault..

Yeah.. its not uncommon for the crush tube to move around. I've had 3 carrier.. non of which are BOSS and they all did it.. Modquad, LSR and Fireball

The first yrs it was made they had some crank problems.. but the later versions were better. Them things can be nasty fast when done right.. Worked at a suzuki dealer for awhile in the service dept and worked on a few of'em..(carb cleaning from sitting) I thought it was fun as hell to ride. The banshee guy's will tell ya they suck and break.. and the suzuki guys will tell ya Banshee suck and break.. My banshee has been beat a few times by some zilla's. They CAN run. I'd say if the price is right.. pick it up and make your own opinion.. if you dont like it.. sell it.

Yep.. I used the honda 80/85 oil for a long time.. I recently swtiched to ATF..( cuz its cheaper) but for some reason my trans just doesn't feel the same.. so I'm swtiching back to a 2-stroke trans oil like honda 80/85, Maxima MTL or Gear saver..

Parts-unlimited carries a Moose stator.. Part # 2102-0040 FITS MODEL: YFZ350 Banshee 95-06 - 250W Hi Power Lighting stator. OEM repl., ready to Plug-in $169.95 I dont know who makes it for moose.. but it might be worth checking into since RS seems to be making junk..

I always used 15/41 gearing on my ported dune bike. my drag bike I use 14/40 or 15/42

They are available in a -2 and with skid plate mounts. I didn't see on their site where carriers only fit them.. a round carrier is a round carrier.. 831.00 for a -2 comes complete with carrier and brake plate.
