  1. Cub is long gone Damien lol Intakes still forsale.
  2. I try to find other alternatives to wiseco myself but.. to each their own. Never had a problem with cast.. Ran Pro-X pistons for years in my duner bike with no problems... but had a handfull of failures with wisecos. I'm actually VERY happy with the WSM pistons I've been using. Got 2 seasons on them and I bet I could have easily gone a third or maybe a 4th. The forged vs. Cast debate will go on forever.. best thing to do is a search and gather as much info as you can and make your own opinion.
  3. Look like small bores. The BB's use one seam/weld section after the flange before the expansion while the SB's use 2 seams/welds before the expansion.
  4. I used a key relocating bracket to move the CDI up front under the nose piece of the plastic. It was very clean looking.. no one even knew it was there.. I'm sure you could cut a piece of aluminum plate and it would be the same.
  5. Bump. Paddles sold Intakes sold Crank sold Pipes and +4 swinger still for sale
  6. The oil distributors just put a additive in the fuel before they deliver it to the stations. Only thing I've ever done to mine to winterize them is drain the carb bowls and add fuel stabilizer to the gas.
  7. I think they need to make a Chariot head for the DM. It would be a nice alternative to the casted head.
  8. sorry.. I meant to say for round housing carrier. Carrier is not included. Its powdercaoted gloss black.. its just a lil dusty. Intakes Sold Crank Sold Pipes sold pending payment.
  9. Alot of guys over here use Klotz super tech on the ice... Kotz R-50 is a good oil. Alot of bikes came through our service dept. that said they used Yamalube 2-R for years and I was pretty impressed. I've ran just about every oil in the book.. they've all worked good for me. I've switched to Redline oils now. I'm very happy with it so far... Bottom line is.. Oil is purely preference.. Alot of guys run castor, amsoil, Klotz, Bel-ray, ect... and all have their positive feed backs.. and every oil has a horror story.. Was it the oils fault? probably not but most people will blame a product before themselves. Just make sure the oil is stable down the temp you'll be running in. Other then that, I think oil is oil.. pick your flavor.
  10. What if his friends have Herr Juggs cubs?? lol
  11. There was no more cu. ft. to be had that I was willing to give. I moved the seat forward about 4" to make more room for the box. With 6 subs, ea. sub is getting over .39 ft3 and min is .33. I know how to build a vented enclosure and have built my fare share. I'm not into the roadside DB drags anymore. I'm pretty much SQ now and I prefer the sound of mulitiple smaller drivers over vented enclosures. I like my install and like the way it sounds. Car audio isn't my bag anymore and I've moved on to other hobbies that me and my family can enjoy. Hence BansheeHQ. I'm not trying to sound like a ass but... The guy asked to see pictures of peoples subs in their trucks. So I posted mine. I wasn't looking for a box building tutorial. If you have pics of your install in your truck.. Post'em up!
  12. All out builds with no budgets.... Banshee. There is some RIPPIN R's out there and I'm not taking anything away from them. I just think the aftermarket is more geared to the shee's.
  13. The paddle tires are also for sale.. Hardly used.. maybe one weekend... as you can see from the pics, still has nipples on the tires. 20x11x9 10 pdl's $200
  14. I'd have to say you wont see any gains over a 421.. especially for trail riding. The super cubs have to be FULLY drag ported to get the extra 3-5hp. Some shops call a "clean up port" porting... So you have to know what your getting.. you'll still have to split the cases to have the machine work done to the upper case to fit the supercub.. If it was me.... I wouldn't waste my time/money on a super cub unless it was for drag racing only and you needed to fit into a certain class.. I dont like cubs for any type of trail riding but if you looking for a edge over your buddies.. you might be farther ahead looking into a 10mil cub.
  15. Also got a +4 round tube swingarm with roundhousing carrier podercoated black. $200 Sorry thats the best pic I got of it at the time..
  16. And yes that is rust on the bearing housing.. Their is no rust in the bearing channel and the bearing spins 100% free. I took that picture so people could see it. If you think that is a problem, I'll throw in a brand new bearing for it. I dont sell bad parts and I make sure the buyer knows what their getting. Also Bandit I didn't get any PM's from you. The pistons that come with the cylinders are used wiseco's.
  17. Parting out the old build to fund the new one.. I'll have pics this weekend or send me a PM and I'll send you some as soon as I get them.. Toomey T-5's Good condtion with a couple small dents. Chrome is in great shape and not dull! shines like new! Sorry about the pic.. I got finger smudges on them.. $350 Stock crankshaft with hotrods, It was rebuilt a few yrs ago. All bearings are tight and spin freely. $125 White Knuckle billet Intakes for 38-40mm carbs. White knuckle wants $169 new. I'll take $100 Stock carbs drilled for alky. $75 Stock cyinders with stock porting. bore is 66mm. They have a fresh hone and pistons are included. $300
  18. my finger style lockup was made by mattoon machine.
  19. You'll have to get a different head and domes since the hemi head wont fit. The cases will have to be machined to fit the bigger bore Also.. The super cubs HAVE to be ported or they will actually make less power then the 68mm cubs. A 72mm supercub is 472cc's. and will only make about 3-5hp more then the 68mm cub depending on the port job. In most cases the super cubs arn't worth the extra money for 3-5 more hp...
  20. This was his post earlier in the thread.
  21. There's DD, Modquad, and Mattoon Machine. I'm not sure if Boss makes one or not but.. thats all that I know of for the finger style.. then ofcourse as others said.. there is the slingshot.
  22. Stock cages with a good set of reed will work just fine. I like the boyessen dual stage.
