I dont push on mine when I adjust it.. I unhook the cable from the actuator. After I set the adjuster screw. I'll push the actuator arm and check to see where it aligns.. just for future references. Now I have the old school pancake bearing and its a real pain in the ass to adjust the clutch... I have to take the pressure plate off to make adjustments... gets old really fast. I think i'm going to buy a new one this year..

Yeah.. it ran good until the skirt broke in about 2 hours or so..

I'm going to add another vote to window mods on the piston.. I've used a set of moded pistons one time a while back.. guess what happend to them?

I dont go by the arrows anymore.. clutch fibers and steels all have different thickness so using the arrows as a indicator with after market clutches is pretty useless.. I turn the adjust screw till it hits.. then back it out 1/8 or 1/16 of a turn.. what ever feels right at the moment.

He knows that the case work alone for the DM is around 1k right? The DM build is a bottomless pit of money. The cost to build the DM is WELL over 5k not including clutch componets. Just some food for thought. They always look better on paper then all the lil shit starts to add up and bite you in the ass after you alraedy got rid of sweet running motor.. :sad:

Never used it on any of my builds.. but I do put new seals in every time the motor comes apart.

Looks about the going rate.. Most of the builders I've dealt with port with plating but to each their own. I thought you didn't like DM's?

Ok... I guess I'll throw my 2 cents in... As most people know.. Jeff isn't my builder and he has never done any motor work for me. I'm not on the FAST bandwagon, and probably never will be. But.... Bottom line is Jeff has ALWAYS came through for me when I needed parts. He went out of his way to make sure I had them when I needed them.. Some times he took parts off his own bikes to get me what I needed so I didn't miss a trip. He's ALWAYS called me back if he didn't asnwer... Hell... he's even called me back to bitch me out for not leaving a message right after I hung up the phone. Jeff has never done me wrong so if I need something again and Jeff has it... he'll get a call from me.

Ok.. I guess I'm the lone ranger on this one... I like the WSM pistons and havn't had ANY problems with them. 2 full seasons of drag racing and dune drags.. They are forged pistons. I'd run another set in my next motor..

I usually see them go for 150-200 on ebay. a good set of arms are anywhere from 150-200. + the tie rods and spindles. You'll be farther ahead with a good aftermarket shock on your banshee arms... You wont be disapointed!

probably 400 complete... Just throw a set of elkas on there and call it a day..
