  1. probably all stock internals.. besides the fact there is no proof that it was actually his. No way I'd shell out that coin.
  2. if its a stock clutch it will have rubber rings between the plates. stock clutch has 7 plates also.
  3. I woudln't think case volume would be a issue with a 4mil. None of my 4mils used epoxy.. But.. what do I know. I'll leave that stuff up the to the builders.
  4. My shearers fit fine.. Just had to use a few washers on the left pipe to give some extra clearance from the head.
  5. Depends on the motor and porting. Some like shearer.. other motors will favor the cpi's.. The more appropriate question would be... "which pipe is best for my build?"
  6. for 300ft sand most people will use shearer.. but. Some builders porting will favor other pipes. wether its big bore, small bore, CPI or shearer.. Best thing is to ask the builder wich pipe his porting likes.
  7. I was wondering the same thing..
  8. better to ask the person who did the porting.
  9. Dave is a super cool guy!!! He helped me get a set of domes for my bro's cub and was VERY prompt with them and even shipped them to my campground!! lol I'm waiting for Dave to get the DM heads going and I'll buy one!
  10. I used DGK in my pwk's
  11. You guys know my story... I'll be there pipes permitting.
  12. You guys are so COOL!! You made it on Cascades fav 5!!! The guy had a problem and voiced his opinion about it. Then you "senior members" blow up and start saying he's lying, and calling Cascade to prove it to make him look bad.. C'mon... if that isn't childish I dont know what is.. Its a business.. Your going to have people that arn't happy.. its how you handle the situation wether the customer is right or wrong. That shows your "customer service" I deal with this stuff everyday.. I konw its hard sometimes.. For Cascade to let a few 3rd parties in on the situation that wasn't involved... doesn't look to professional either. Its getting pretty stupid around here with all the nut swinging.. People have a bad experience and can't say anything about it without having a pose of loyalists cutting them down. It more then just this thread, I've heard of some bad happenings from about 10 different people/businesses on here and they wont say anything just because of stuff like this..
  13. Never scuffed any of my new steels either.
  14. You wont see a realistic 150-160 hp from a 10mil DM (all motor).. But.. I'm sure there is some dyno's out there that will read alot higher then the average. Every Dyno has a reputation.. http://forums.atvdragracers.com/index.php?showtopic=139
  15. I take everything... cuz what ever you leave behind.. you'll end up needing!
  16. Runnin E85 isn't bad. as long as your setup to use it.
  17. better keep an eye on it.. that motor will twist like a pretzel and throw chains if you dont have engine stays on it.
  18. Does that mean you'll be running 8 extreme's on your 4mil cub.?
  19. I'd run the rippers. Is that going in a stock chassis??
  20. Alot of that depends on what type of porting and who ported it.. Different builders porting has different fuel needs. Start rich and lean back.. One thing about alky is that it really dont mind rich jetting like gas.
  21. probably gonna have to pull the cover off and look at the shift shaft.. make sure its adjusted right. Make sure the stop is good and not cracked. (the tab that holds teh shift drum in) Check the nylon bushing to make sure its spacing the hooks from the star correctly. Mine was wore and it was rubbing the screw in the shift drum. Just gonna have to take that cover off and investigate.. if everything looks good there.. might have to check your shift forks.
  22. Its still a forced induction.. Not to mention it would be hard to rig a drive off the stator to drive it.
  23. That motor is for sale.. I think he wants 8900 for it. I'm sure Dan has somthing bigger and better up his sleeve.
  24. found a bunch of threads. Good link above! This thread looked to have the most info. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...hl=aviation+gas
