They just need alot more port work to get running as good as a cub out of the box. They are also more money then a cub.

My buddy had a set on his.. The power is decent.. better then stock! But the fit was absolutely horrible!! Never seen a pipe fit that bad.

I like my YFZ450 for for just about every kind of riding over my banshee.. The power is better.. the handling is better, traction is better, its got electric start. Its just a better built bike. If someone told me I could only have one quad.. I'd pick my 450 over my banshee...

The Banshee's are horrible for MX.. always have been.. Even before the 4-strokes they were bad. Ever watch a open class MX in the mid 90's?? The Latest 4-strokes bring everything to the table that a banshee will never have.

Depending on how the bike idles.. go up or down a size in the pilot..

Perhaps the pilot jet is off..

I'm not very fond of the lectrons myself.. I use them.. and I understand them.. but I still dont like them. With Lectrons its easy to get close, but near impossible to fine tune... I'll second what Tyler said.. Unless you need a huge carb.. I'd run the Kiehins. Never had a problem with fuel or float issues. Kiehins are great carbs.

Thats the beauty of alky.. By leaning back you wont see a big gain in power like you would gas.. I like it rich.. keeps things nice and cool. I'm a lil beyond rich right now.. you stand behind my bike you'll get a alky shower! lol

Alky is way easier to tune... It dont mind being run pig rich.. Just dont get greedy leaning back or you'll melt it down. . Weather didn't affect my 4mil cub any.. I didn't change my jetting once... ran it in everything from 40 degrees up to 100 and humid.. If your jetting is on.. you wont change it. might need a lil gas/ether to get it started if it gets too cold though..

I agree Tim.. I think it should be able to be mounted in a stock frame with out mods and fit into stock cases.. If it can't.. then its not a banshee.. And the Title says "shee" so.. trikes need not apply.

Pablo, I think Tim invoked the fine print law.. lol It has to be a banshee based twin that "CAN" fits into stock cases.. no spread bores, tripples yada yada... But I do agree. It is a loaded question. With all dyno's reading different makes things kinda hard.. There are a handfull of big twins on the HQ..

I was gonna weld some tabs onto my chassis for some plastic.. but I think them chassis's are just too damn sexy to cover up! lol I just cut the front feet off then welded them back on. Everything lines up perfect now.

If he hasn't been on in quite a while.. then probably not.. Mine is going to the dyno in about 2 weeks.. but.. I know mine is FAR from the highest hp.. I wont mention names but I know of 1 or 2 making 180's on motor. Some guys dont like to post their numbers. Thier is also a 4 cylinder banshee here that should be making some pretty interesting numbers.

Not that I dont like the chariot head.. I mean.. If you put 2 new heads on the table and asked which one I wanted.. I'd take the NOSS.. But.. if I was to buy a head.. The chariot being cheaper makes it a bit more appealing. Soo.. its a tuff call. I bought the chariot since it was cheaper.. I like it alot.. But I liked my prodesign and NOSS heads too.. Pick 2 and flip a coin! lol I had a ADA head once.. and I sold it before I even got a chance to use it.. You can only get the domes from ADA..
