you gotta watch the tip of the plug on the b8es's... mine come loose all the time and i can feel it.
get some locktite and pliers to tighten the tops down before putting the caps on should do the trick..
i got a brand new clutch and and when i start it and shift to first i have to rev the engine or else it will stall out. but once in first with the clutch helled it wont move and will idle ok but when i rev the engine with the clutch pulled shee moves forward. i tryed fine adjusting it but it doesnt seem to catch all the way when on the gas like that so ive just kept it how it is.....
i just got a trinity 35 mm cv intake and im all bout it. i have a large power increase on top and bottom, and it takes 5 minutes to jet, both cylinders are perfectly synch....i love it and i recommend it ...i do mostly trail riding.....opens everything up too more room to work with
i took my quad back to the dealership when it blew up the first time, they told me my crank was shot and got me to buy a new long rod kit, i was looking on ebay a little bit after they completed my bike and i found them selling like 3 of the exact same cranks on ebay.....they worked me after that i bought a clymers....i think you should take the advice of the people on here and if anything goes wrong you always got the HQ.......
i just got my quuad rebuilt and broken in and my friend was curious about the speed of the banshee... and was askin for a ride. so i took him to a cement back road i know ofand told him "this might sound gay but hold on to me as tight as u can" rev'd up took off pulled a wheelie in 2nd and nailed it all the way through the gears. get to the end of the road and turn around....dude had the biggest eyes, hair blown back and no helmet.. turned out the wheelie popped his helmet off cause it wasnt strapped so im cruisin back and see the helmet on the road...dont ask why but for some reason i decide to try and pick the helmet up while moving insteead of just stopping and grabbing it.....i go to reach to grab the helmet and my arm catches the bars and pulls me to the left gets the quad on 2 feet and flips us up and forward into the 6 inch water grassy marsh on the side of the road completely drenching us with nasty water....wow was that the stupidest thing ive done in awhile....luckily everything turned out alright and no injuries to either us or the shee
when i rebuilt the top end i also bought a trinity 2 into 1 35mm carb.... ha i bought it so i wouldnt have to worry about synchronizing the carbs......
ok i found that my compression tester was bunk. but i still need help....my left cylinder runs strong and sounds great but once i start it up and it idles for a minute the right cylinder goes out untill i rev it up and than it will kick back in. and when i choke it they both run good i can take the right plug off and it will start and run on only the left cylinder but it will not run on just the right cylinder i found my compression is about 20 pounds off between cylinders 150 in the right 170 in the left, i recently blew the left piston and had to rebuild the top end and now my right cylinder is low on compression. when took the top end apart the left piston had a hole through the top and the right cylinder looked excellent no problems at all. and now with new pistons and a cylinder hone's the left runs great and the rights got 20 pounds less compression...
my shee starts 1st kick no matter how long, i leave the gas on for a minute tho and shake it around a lil.......12;1 compression dont hurt either on a fresh rebuild
i got a trailtech speedometer on mine, works good u set tire size and it has like 20 functions from speed, ride time, average speed, distance, oil check reminders all sorts of shit for like 70 bucks
i have the exact same problem man i tryed the same shit my right cylinder wont fire when idling but when i ride it, it seems to be alright but sluggish i also bought a new coil with no help it ran better when it was choked too. just like u i got pissed off so i took it to the shop to let them fuck with it i will post what they tell me
my left cylinder overheated riding my quad i thought it could have been my carbs werent synch and one was runnin lean....i bought the trinity 35mm cv kit and put everything back together.. after starting it the right cylinder wouldnt fire untill the rpm's started to climb i figured this could be weak spark so i replaced the ignition coil...the problem did not go away? all the electrical seems to be in good working order i just cant find the problem. it seems to run alright when its chocked but that doesnt make since to me... almost everything on my quad has been replaced and is in new condition my mind is boggled any help?!?!?!?!? anybody
