Buy the brass ones , they do last a little longer and you can get them at pretty much any local shop , and if you can spare the $$$ spring for the bearings instead of brass or plastic Pivot works and All balls makes them but they aint cheep...
One of the wires goes to a ground on the frame and the other one goes inside the on off switch ..As far as the key switch , just snip the wires and re-solder them ..As far as the tors.. Just remove all that crap , you dont need it , Just unplug and go..
It probably wouldnt be a good choice in pipes for him then cause he lives in florida , Im guessing there is more sand then tight trails ? attleast from what he has told me anyway ? How do they sound ? Does it still have that distinct sound that we all love
My best friend lives in florida and rides a 250 quadracer , and yes i know it sucks to be him..Anyway my question is , I finally got him convinced to get a banshee and he found a really clean 98 with the 2 into 1 carb and a 2 into 1 pipe , I think its an FMF not sure ? Are these things any good ? Or are they a waste of $$$ The pipe that is , not the carbs..Ive never rode one with that pipe set up ? I tried using the search but came up empty So what do you all think of the 2 into 1 pipe set up ? It damn sure cant sound as good ? Thanks in advance...
Lube , Lube , Lube ! Or just get a new one there pretty cheap . Just be sure to lube that one If they did rebuild the clutch too , than yea stiffer springs could do it, you can alternate the springs , 3 stock , 3 stiff...
Could be something as simple as say . different vendors You know how companys sub out some of their work (parts) and maybe there where 2 different companys making the water pumps ?Just a thought
It must be the water pump Cause I also have had the same problem , it just sounds like a piston knock ! Its anoying as hell but I've heard some do it and some dont so I try to just deal with it not going away ..And by the way mines a 97...
Have you checked the settings ? If not then check em The stockers do suck but you should be able to turn them down and soften them up a little ... Hope this helps...

I'd get the phone book out and look up someone to sandblast it , if not then yea aircraft stripper works great ! Id take it to the car wash and use their pressure washer though ? smeer on the stripper and blast it off ! Damn that sounded kinda dirty hu
cut the ends off with a die grinder or something , then take a bunch to the center of the bolt , drill the center out and it should fall out . When you get that thing back together lube the shit outa it !
