  2. Take your pick. http://www.cascadeinnovations.net/store/store_View.cfm?STORE_AREA_ID=13&store_dept_id=98 My buddy bought the third set that were set up for +2 a arms but worked great with his stock a arms.
  3. OIC, excellent. Thanks for the tip!
  4. I haven't been that deep into a Banshee motor yet, but shouldn't any keyway be outboard of the seal? How do you fix that, a little RTV?
  5. Repressurize it and spray soapy water to check for bubbles on all case seams, external crank seals, reed cages to cylinders, intakes to reeds, cross-over tube fittings, sparkplug threads and of course the components used for the leakdown test that are attached to the intakes and exhaust including the fitting used to pressurize the engine.
  6. Then they can give you better jetting recommendations than we can.
  7. First off, banshees don't have ^^^, they have one head with two combustions chambers. There's nothing in a Banshee's head to port. Polishing the combustion chamber will only allow carbon a better surface to stick to. Proper tuning helps.
  8. Cam, what are your thoughts on toomey needles vs. stk needles? We can take it to PM's if you have time. I'll ask it again OP, who is porting your cyls, and where do you ride?
  9. Exactly what he said.
  10. 10mil Serval You can always port to a cub...
  11. Are you guys both at sea level?
  12. Good advice ^^^. My mods are in my sig. I'm at Sea Level on 300 mains and I'm not ported. Who's porting your cyls?
  13. Do you have the stock carbs jetted for your mods?
  14. On another note, anyone know if T5 stingers will fit on PT Mids? I do not like the look of the OG FatBoy silencers.
  15. Thanks for the bump. Would you say the PT Mids are a better pipe than T5's? How about with an "Aggressive Trail or MX" port, which would be better pipe for mountain trail/XC riding with a 250# rider? The plan for my 2002 is to build the motor, suspension and brakes for mountain trail/XC riding. I will also let a select few of my friends ride the 2002 in the dunes to get them hooked into riding Banshees so hopfully they would buy their own Banshee...
  16. Man, you just missed a smoking deal on a set of 22x11x8 12 paddle sls extremes. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=170145&hl= Way too much paddle for my puny motor... PM the OP, he may have another set. That thread is actually kinda funny, if you read thru it. How often you guys go up to Sand Mountain? You guys go to Pismo at all?
  17. Nice stator cover Carlo!
  18. Looks like it won't be until Saturday before I can post up some quality pics.
  19. Proportionally they look great. How are they small? So are 22x11x8's what you want? I wonder if 22x11x9's are available from Skat-Trak?
  20. I have no idea, but for the right offer I'll cover shipping and Paypal fees. Silencers are freshly repacked with maybe 5hrs of riding. Shipping to NJ won't be cheap...
  21. Gauging intrest. I have a set of Paul Turner Mid-range Pipes w/Fatboy Stingers that I'm looking to sell. They are circa 1995 with no dents and have Cascade Exhaust Clamps. They are triple chrome plated but they have some rust. They are still on my 87 that's in storage. Here's a pic of the bike with the pipes. I can get better pics this coming weekend if anyone is interested.
  22. What size are your paddles? And are they haulers or extremes? Damn, I wish I could go to Sand Mountain this weekend. I'll be in Pismo the weekend of Oct. 18th-20th. Then I'll be at Sand Mountain the weekend of Nov. 8th-11th. Then back to Pismo the weekend of Nov. 22nd-25th.
  23. Yep, that's a good starting point for sure. Don't forget about the other aspects of building an engine and tuning. 1st and foremost - Leakdown check 2nd Idle 1450 - 1550 rpm 3rd Carb Sync @ idle 4th Carb Sync @ 5500 rpms 5th Plug Chop
