  1. Post a picture and surely someone on the site can identify them. I know ASR sells heims for $30 a set on ebay. The Ford ball joints everyone buys are around $16 a piece at most parts stores.
  2. I think they're the only one to buy from since it's a custom product, I ordered one last week. It was around $55 with the shipping. Ordered a new throttle cable too the other day, $36 plus shipping. And another needle. Hold me.
  3. A guy I work with has a ESR TRX5 and he raves about it all the time, I've heard a bunch of good stuff about ESR's 250R stuff.
  4. He'll take you out of the hole if he can ride, you might be able to get him on topend. The 450's are strong and they're half the weight. I guess the only way to know is to do it.
  5. Both are nice! Hey svtjames, how are the razr2's on your banshee, I need tires when my rebuild is done because I've got the stockers on the Banshee. There's so much tread that I was afraid they'd have alot of drag. They look good, though.
  6. I'm kind of new to the site, just wondering who else rides a 4 stroke besides owning a banshee. I've got a 05 450R that I ride, especially now that the banshee is out of action for awhile. Snapped a shot in the driveway after I took a little ride and played around the house. Show me what you've got.
  7. Those look like a ghetto a$$ pair of retro air jordan's somebody slapped some buckles on. I bet they'd make a killer pair of dancing shoes.
  8. The upper line Fox boots already feel broken in when you buy them, they're awesome. As far as socks, they make coolmax for the summer and thick wool for the winter. Both are around $15 for a good pair. I'm assuming boots come in whole sizes because of the difference in socks, seems like it might give you a little more room depending on which type of sock you're wearing. Go with some Fox boots or 661, they're so close I'm betting the same people make them since they're both supposed to be Italian. Here's my dirty pair.
  9. I would check the compression now, you might have something little turn into something big if you wait to long.
  10. I bought a 450R too, I guess we're lucky to have both.
  11. Go with the RK over the DID.
  12. I'd hate to bust another skirt, that's what caused this rebuild. If wiseco makes them for Vito's they should be a quality product (cross my fingers), the only way for me to find out is to run them I guess.
  13. Boaz, Alabama (Northeast Alabama, midway between Birmingham and Huntsville). 26, grew up and went to high school in Mesa, AZ. Tons of riding here in the South, no green stickers or regulations so anything goes. If anybody remotely close to AL wants to ride, hit me up because I'm close to Georgia and Tennessee too.
  14. I called Vito's yesterday and ordered some crank seals and pilots/mains and decided to go ahead and order some .20 over superstocks. I hope I made a good choice, I don't have porting so I figure they'll a be good power increase over stock. This week I'll probably order a noss head (19cc) and send my cylinders off to get bored. I'm hoping to have this thing back together in the next month. I figure my mods will end up being the pistons, head, vforce2's, gytr cdi (been running it awhile), and 2 into 1 with 35mm pwk, lrd pipes, and whatever else I come across between now and then. Plenty of power for the woods, maybe some new sprockets and chain. Just really curious if anyone has had good luck with Vito's.
  15. I've got a set and they're great for the money. If the heims go bad you can buy a replacement set from them on ebay for $30
  16. Good luck finding one that speaks English.
  17. I drink monster too, but I always buy the 24oz cans!
  18. Whatever you do, keep your ass OFF the seat when you land. If not, when it rebounds you're probably coming off the bike.
  19. I don't have any experience with a 2 into 1 yet, but I will soon since I just bought one off of a site member. I'd personally try the 180 before the 170 cause I'd rather be a little rich instead of lean and work my way down. JMO
  20. They're the rec series dual rates valved for +2 arms (180-200lbs), they're pretty soft. I think the triple rates would have been way to soft for the type of riding I do. They're waaaaayyy better than stock. I might not end up with the most powerful motor out there, but what's power if you can't control it? Suspension makes my bike. Definitely a good buy, I'd recommend them to everyone. I might get some rezzies soon.
  21. Can you cook up some retro looking stickers that read "TRX450R", but look like OEM 250R decals? I'm sure I can come up with a 250R decal to start with.
  22. The Honda bolt patterns will fit the Suzuki Z400's and a few more also.
  23. Buy them both, I did! The Honda is maybe 30lbs lighter, max. It's easier to ride because the power comes on smoother and the suspension is a lot better than a stock banshee's. The 2 downsides to a 450R are the that mods are way more expensive to do to a 4 stroke and you get less horsepower dollar for dollar. Maintenance is less on the Honda, but you don't get the same thrill when you push the throttle. It's all preference I guess, but I would recommend the 450R to a less experienced rider or if you right a lot of woods. The YFZ450 is a nice bike, but it will beat your ass to death riding it all day. Plus alot of people don't know me on this site and don't know that I work for Honda. Please don't hurt me.
  24. I'll probably stick with it, chances are it was a part failure. The motor looked pretty clean when I pulled everything.
  25. I've ran maxima 927 on my 04 and got about 30 hours out of it before it popped. I always ran it @ 32:1. I'm thinking of running a new oil once I get it back together, but I love the smell of 927. Anyone had a good or bad experience with this oil?
