  1. I don't live there now, but I did for 2 years in the mid 90's. I hope it's changed some because it was seriously lame, there's very little to do but I'm sure you can find lots of places to ride since it's nothing but desert. Alamogordo is not to happening, but alot goes down about 1 1/2 hours away in El Paso and Juarez.
  2. I used the race logic stage 2 templates and ported my cylinders myself, I think it came out really well. Definitely worth the $50 I paid a site member for the templates and a few die bits and sanding drums I already had. Didn't take long and was actually pretty easy. Tomorrow I'll probably drop them off at the powdercoating place to get the exteriors bead blasted and probably cleared, then off to be bored. All I'll need then are new clutch plates before I put everything back together. Check the pick and tell me what you think since I'm no porting expert.
  3. The whole suit is ventilated and all the pads cinch as tight as you want them. It's pretty comfortable with way more protection than a chest protector alone. As far as the kidney belt being worse for you, maybe if you wear one constantly and have chronic pain that you're trying compensate for. I like one when riding because you're in a very unnatural postion for hours on end and your muscles get way more of a strain than normal plus the main idea is to support your internal organs, not your back. 4. I don't know about burgard, but I have asr arms and they fit the spindles with no reaming. They also have a lifetime guarantee, I've had good luck with mine.
  5. Just did some business with holeshotkid, everything was perfect from start to finish. Buy from him with confidence, great seller!
  6. Got it taken care of.
  7. I've got one built in to my 661 pressure suit. Seems like it helps.
  8. Pipes/jetting, air filter, and vforce reed valves are a good start. Wakes a stock bike up big time.
  9. I need a modded shift star, sell me one or mod mine. Whatever's cheaper, let me know what you got.
  10. I plan on buying a small pancake compressor today, just wondering if anyone knows if it will run a mini die grinder. Any help would be appreciated.
  11. Here's the link Click Here
  12. Oh man, that sh*t is hot with the orange and grey. I was looking through a Motosport Outlet catalog last night that had a Thor helmet that would match. It was a primer grey and orange, I'll see if I can get a link for it.
  13. Bud heavy, not light. I usually drink it when I'm riding the mower.
  14. haha, that's a trip. I noticed Luke Duke even signed the radiator shroud.
  15. I've got to relate a little bit about "freeloaders" before I bust after hearing all these excuses. I work my a$$ off and am gone 12-13 hours a day to allow my wife to stay at home. Her younger sister is married to a guy the same age as me, 26, and he drives a concrete truck when he feels like working. They live in goverment assisted housing (the projects), get $500 a month in food stamps, and the kids are on medicaid. The guy brings in a good $400 a week, add in the $125 a week in food stamps, no insurance premiums from work (good for $50 at least), and barely any rent. He's living better than most, thanks to me. I am tempted to report them all the time, but I feel guilty because of the kids. Everyone gets down sometimes, no doubt. But I've got heart and pride and it won't let me live like that because there are way to many options. It makes me sick when it's so close to home, so I can't sympathize with you. Sell the banshee and buy a bed and a/c, I'd throw my quads in the garbage for my kids.
  16. I bought a White Bros. Carbon Pro from them and had good luck.
  17. Guess nobody has them, thought they might look good on a stock silver frame or maybe blue frame. All orange might look good too, a buddy of mine has a 250r that's orange and it's the shit.
  18. I love the 450R over the rest, I rode them all and the ergos were the best for me. Plus I work for Honda so I get a discount, but I'm on a Yamaha related site. ::
  19. The "Bus" retires and "Big Ben" gets his face smashed. The rest of the AFC is probably happy as hell. Sucks with no helmet, I remember when my old man got knocked off his harley by a woman in full size bronco that switched lanes. He didn't have a helmet (no helmet law in AZ at the time, not sure now) and almost lost an ear but they sewed it back on, he gave up the bike after that.
  20. I recently bought some pipes from cbryant_2, smoking deal and fast shipping. Highly recommended!
  21. Recently did business with both and had smooth transactions, would recommend business with either one. Thanks for the great deals guys. Jared
  22. I ride in all kinds of stuff and cut both front and rear. All the rears were good for was catching my boots and getting scratched up everytime I threw a leg over my quad. No regrets here.
  23. Just wondering if anyone has some orange plastics, if so I'd like to see some pics.
  24. My wife stays home with my 2 year old son, and we have a little girl due in Sept. I guess I'm fortunate to have a killer job with awesome benefits. She's rolling the 06 Yukon and I'm stuck driving a Kia but hey, it's an 04. I steal her ride and hookup the trailer whenever I want, plus I drive an hour to work each way so I'd be crazy to drive something else with gas being so expensive. I've got my quads and that's all I spend my extra change on, she gets the rest for the house and whatever else to keep her off my back. I like her being at home since I work a rotating schedule of 2 weeks days and 2 weeks nights. Good luck with your business venture, I know it gets tough sometimes with 1 income. When the kids start school she'll go to work and make me some money since she's got a business degree. I think it's great with her home right though, I don't want someone else raising them if I can help it.
  25. Likewise, buy with confidence from Chase. He hooked me up with some fast shipping, everything looked good. Thanks man.
