  1. Use 1/4" Puck board man, don't mess with aluminum, it will bend, trust me been there done that. Slides over shit way better and wont break or bend very easy at all, unless you heat it to form it how you want it. + It's cheep. PUCK BOARD!!!!!!!!!
  2. As said above. RMATV, or i bought all new wheels from Yamaha of Troy and also ATV Galaxy. Good deals at all.
  3. Ive had a few different digitron's around through the years on all my sleds and junk and it all depends on the probe placement. If the location is not identical between the two cylinders....or 3, you will see different EGT's. Just the slightest difference in angle of the tip is going to alter your readings. No one can really tell you what your EGT's should be. I would read plugs and wash first. When you are happy with those, then see what your EGT's are at. That is your baseline. You can fine tune from there. EGT's will help you diagnose developing problems once you have your baseline set. You can find lean spots throughout the throttle range. But In my experience the EGT's will always vary by 200ish degrees unless they are jetted separately. Read plugs and wash to get a baseline then you know what your egt's should be. In a perfect world they should be about 1050 on the bottom, 1150ish in the middle and 1200ish top end. Aluminum melts at 1350 roughly. Don't take these numbers and run with it as every motor is different and it really depends on your probe location. IMO the most important area in jetting is not the main jet, but careful sellection of and needle, often its part throttle cruise that get dangerously lean. If you dial it in to get 1250 on a 30 deg day, you will be piston shopping with that jetting when it drops into the teens What model you looking at?
  4. 1 3/4", 44mm Inlet.
  5. In my opinion any leak is bad. I personally wont run any of my junk with any sort of air leak what so ever. You need to find where it is leaking. First try some soapy water in a spray bottle. Spray all over the carbs, intake, base gaskets, case ect ect while the bike is running. If you see bubbles then there you go, simple fix. Possibly the crank seals could be leaking as well, you pack the lips with grease? Use 1211 threebond or similar ? Or did you even have the cases split or just the top end off?
  6. Shouldn't need it. I have both ASV C3 levers for a few years, all good!
  7. Thanx!!!

  13. I use the Evols on my black mountain goat. Never had a problem yet. Rip around on shit from trails, fast logging roads, rocky, light mud type stuff held up fine. Nice and light, Million diff adjs and settings, simple to set up perfect quick...cant go wrong with any of the said above though. Or just get the stage 100000000 Elkas.... Just don't go with what you think "looks cool". I mean some guys will say. "Im getting elkas because they are anodized red and look cool" lol Not saying they are shitty at all but if the outside has dog shit and junk piled on it but the internals and springs are good...then they are usually good just like other "good brands"... don't go by looks is all im saying. Just like those Chinese Ebay el-cheapos all anodized gold, red and blue what ever...look sorta cool but are straight up junk, nomesayin? But some people think they are a good shock cause they don't know any better, but they "look cool" right...few threads about that on here Just save up to get what you want or can afford. Tons of deals around. Carry on.
  14. If that's the same guy that built them a couple years ago, he would build them how you wanted right to order. They are very beefy units. Haven't seen one around on the bay for a good long time.
