  2. its just a hotter plug probly ran it to eat up the extra oil id lean the premix ratio u can keep the style of plug try the Denso 9 thats a good plug

  4. u said ur plugs look good so that would square off the jetting and mix ratio has ur bike been just washed or gotten wet? maybe low compression does it feel that way?

I kno what ur trying to say dip, but from a mechanics view and trying to work on there bikes can be a hassle sumtimes, i love there bikes there solid motors than run for a long time and honda has 80% of the powersports industry, ya there badass mofos. I think i am gonna take the honda course they just extended it 12 weeks but u come out as a registered honda tech which takes guys in the field a long time to accomplish what do u guys have to say about the imports and there relationship with moto/supercross right now?

  7. hmm maybe u have the scraper ring in the compression groove usually the scraper has a bigger end gap, markings should be towards the crown
  8. if the skirt is shattering the cylinder is probly out of round or has a good amount of taper u can get a dial bore gage and a mic if u can read them, or take it to a shop
  9. line up the end gaps with the studs and go buy a ring compresser from checker or sumthing there pretty cheap

Screw you guys, yea over engineered as in more moving parts than needed for a simple thing, like there retarded mechanical slide carbs fat spring on the side to a shaft with a f*cken arm over extended over the slide and sum pin holding it together >with yamaha a cable through the top-easy-simple-works great, Dont get me wrong i still like there line of bikes

  15. wsup guys, i really want to get a discussion going on about this What company do u think is the leader in the powersports industry now and expecially in the future? I'm taking courses for Honda and Yamaha, which i am a huge fan of expecially Yamaha. I'm kind of at a stand still between deciding on my courses i have a choice of all imports and Harley Davidson/Buell. I really want to go the motocross way after i get out of school and signed to a crew, i go to motocross races now and all i see is team green everywhere is Kawasaki really getting the edge on this side of the industry? They just extended the Honda program i think i might drop yamaha which i hate do do and take Harley because there is alot of money to be made in Harley, not really shooting the kawi suzuki way a fan of there dirtbikes but not so much quads.
  16. fuel pump shot is perfect thankyou ya sum people feel more comfortable just throwing on there gas carbs because the alky jetting is so fat im away from home so if u can get a shot of sum gas carbs intake side vs alky carbs that would be great

  18. this is great guys yea the project is due thurs im gonna do a powerpoint im throwin it down like this why u need to purge the fuel/ what happens corrosive and rust whys if u dont purge the fuel/ types of purge bottles and fuel lines/ different types of carb setups and throw in a plug reading i could really use a shot of the inside(air fillter side) of the carb to give an idea of the powrjet> shot of the containers u keep the alky in corrosive motor shots and sum rich and lean plugs that would be great thanks alot guys i have a thanks/source page at the end so ill throw up ur screennames if u want

  25. WORD on greasing the bearings keep an eye on that, ya i have a 2500hd with the 6.0 it should be cake put it on tow/haul set the cruise and ull be set :cool:
