i run 20cc domes on pump gas but im at a high elevation you can run the noss head on stock studs . give him a call he will help you out he is great to deal with and he gives hq members a discount.his kit is complete comes with everything you need even nice chrome acorn head nuts and they come in colors too.

i would do it i put the adustable timing plate at+4 and a noss head with 20cc domes on at the same time so im not sure whitch one made the biggest bang but man it made a big difference i dont have port work and i ride at 3500 to 4000 ft elevation on pump gas i have toomey pipes with k+n pod filters also hope this helps

the quiet time is in the campground. you can camp at the bottom of sand mountain and ride all night if you want to right from there. the group i go with has toyhaulers and we just form a circle with a fire pit in the center. the dunes are great you will love it. and the area is big a little something for everybody. as far as weather its freezing now you want to go in the summer.let me know when your going its 3hrs north of me

i agree if you want to smoke that shit stay in your toyhauler or in camp and keep the dunes safer its people like you that give the rest of us a bad name.maybe look around theres kids out there trying to have fun they dont need some stoned idiot running them over.

elevation is probaly one of the biggest factors.

i take 10 gallons a day if im going to big dunes 5 gallons if im going to the local ones with my tank full when i get there and i dont do much night riding.we drink beer and eat at night. but better too bring to much than not enough.i allways bring extra 2stroke oil too.

ive never heard of adding 2 stroke oil to diesel thats new to me. i can say the vp44s have been improved and updated . if your buying them from dodge your getting screwed . im a parts man at a cummins dealership and i can get them much cheaper for genuine cummins parts i would be glad to help out any bhq members out with cummins parts just let me know

i agree dinner the new emissions are going to suck the low sulfer fuel is making problems in the older trucks with fuel leaks and loss of power.also the new egr crap on trucks are a huge problem i dont think diesels are cut out for it . most of the problems we see in our shop are emission or egr related.and the exhaust system is totaly retarted. i work in a big truck dealership so this is not related to pick ups yet but im sure it will have a affect.2007 on is a whole new game

ive allways ran yamalube with no problems. i think it smells just fine but ive never realy compared oils on smell.

i would say pluging them in if left out side is a big help, the block heater.you can also get fuel additive to help keep the fuel from jelling. the new diesel fuel realy sucks. i have never heard of adding gas to diesel fuel i will ask some of the techs i work with on that one some add atf but thats for cleaning not freezing
