the 400ex is a good bike im not a honda fan but they run good. great to have a bike for the wife cant beat that .i like the kawi 400 too the 450 is a little pricey and id rather have a yfz if i wanted a 450.congrats on a nice bike and enjoy riding with your wife, good times

i got my pods and outerwears cheaper at my local yamaha dealer. but there yamalube and filters are high, i can get that cheaper from rocky mountain. i like to support my local dealer but if they get out of control i go online.

i just bought a 07 raptor 700r le yesterday with black wheels, im not sure if the bolt pattern is the same as the banshee? i will be replacing them asap. they have zero miles on them if they will fit ill make you a deal

powder coating is much tougher and much better looking than rhino lining in my opinion. more colors to chose from and if done right will last much longer.

64 is stock.if you have the head off you can measure the cylinders. if there not messed up to bad 10 or 20 over should clean them up

are you boring the cylinders before installaing theses pistons? are you checking the pistons before installing them? sounds like the pistons are rocking back and forth in the cylinders and breaking the skirts. just a thought

this might be a stupid reply to your problem but it happend to me. i ride with alpinestar boots and i love them but sometimes when riding aggresive like racing or going over whoops the buckle or strap on the top of my boot will catch my shifter and move it sometimes it has kicked me in to neutral or made me miss a gear.now that i know whats going on it doesnt happen any more but i did do it a couple times till i got my shit togther

i agree with the shee i like the raptor 700 over the outlaw.im going to get one but im keeping my shee. i might wait and see what the new ones look like in june maybe they will have a black one or some different colors than 07

i think its one of the best bangs for the buck you can do. you can get a ricky stator plate for 35.00 bucks and you will notice the difference. as far as losing top end i guess that depends on your mods i dont think i lost much if any and it wakes the shee right up. on mine i think it smoothed out the powerband and gave it alot better bottom end thats my experiance with it

i dont think yamalube at 32/1 is a problem at all. sounds like your running rich. when you say bone stock im guessing you dont have pipes yet.i would do a plug chop the correct way and then adjust your jetting
