trailtech has some that are a 35w stock banshee replacement. there billet and fit the stock mounts. fast and cascade both have them for about 120.00 a set

i looked at one last weekend and thought it looked pretty cool for a 4x4,then i saw the price. but they do stand behind them my dealer said they came with a 3 year warranty thats pretty good compared to the bullshit warranty the others give you . 6 months on a quad that cost 7k is just wrong they should give you a year at the least

im not sure what you can get out of it in your area.i have the same year and model bike in vivid black and i would hate to sell it. i dont get to ride it as much as you because of weather i only have 1100 miles on mine and i think of selling it in the winter but when it gets warm im glad i have it

ngk br8es for plugs i use yamalube in the tranny change it every 3 or 4 rides so about 20 hrs.other than that i think big boy covered it . keep a eye on it and maintain it well and it should run good and last you a long time

if he owns it he should have a title. i wouldnt buy a quad with out one.maybe if you want to part it out but if its hot you could lose your ass as far as the cops go it might come back clean now but be stolen from somewhere elese and not showed up yet.

thanks for the input. sound like it depends on your luck might not be a bad idea to have a after market one on hand just in case. but one or even to failing in 10 to 13 years dosent seem like a big problem to me

mine runs good on 280s also even a little rich but im at a higher elevation.i put on pod filters a noss head with 20cc domes and advanced the timing +4 and she runs great now

ive been reading that banshees are known too have stator problems? is this true i have had mine for a little over a year now with no problems of any kind. im wonderinig if this is a common problem or just a few that are having it. if so who makes a good after market one ricky stator?i have his adjustable timing plate and like it.is this something i need to replace or not worry about it. is there any signs to look for when it starts to go bad thanks for any input

i agree its all about location. we have lots of sand here so shees are still pretty popular its hard to find one thats clean 2000 or newer for 2500 most of them kids have had them and cut them up and butchered them, i would see what there selling for in your area if your worried about resale. otherwise just buy the shee and have fun you cant go wrong if its in good shape

i have a set of stock pegs off a 05 in perfect shape there black if that matters but im not close to you im in utah ups is 2 or 3 days away if that helps

dave i have pretty much the same mods as you.t6s k+n pods vf3s i also have my timing advanced 3 degrees and a noss head with 20cc domes on a 05 shee. i live in southern utah 5600 ft elevation but ride from about 4000 or 4500 up. sand hollow, coral pink and delta ,sand mountain or jerhico what ever you want to call it. never been to nevada. i run 280s and its jetted perfect just checked my plugs again tonight. i think your pretty close where your at do a plug chop and go from there i check mine anytime i do a mod just to be safe. im thinking your temps are going to be higher there so that might make a little difference

sounds like a good deal if its clean. you can pick up a new front bumper pretty cheap.if you had a banshee before you know what to look for, a 03 for 2500.00 is a very good deal in my area if its in good shape

do you know who did the port work and what type of port job was done? are the cylinders bored?
