  1. I've never heard of them. What the heck are they?
  2. When blind people shit, how do they know when they are done wiping their ass? Do Lions, Tigers, and other big cats bury their shit like housecats?
  3. I've had pretty good luck so far with the WSM pistons. I was also able to get them cheaper than Wiseco or Pro-X.
  4. I've got a buddy of mine that used to have an 88 250R. The damn thing was pink and purple with a blue and white tiger striped seat. We always gave him a hard time about it looking like shit, till we went out riding with him, and saw how many girls would come up wanting him to take them for a ride. I swear that ugly ass bike was a chick magnet.
  5. We were down there in mid-October last year, and just about froze our nuts off at night. I think the first weekend in October is about the latest in the year that I would want to go.
  6. I'm running the works AT steeler dual rate shocks without rezzies. I do a little bit of jumping every now and then, and they seem to work fine for that. If I were planning on doing alot of jumping, or catching some big air, I might look into some of the higher priced shocks though. The works shocks are alot easier on the wallet though. I ordered mine directly from works for less than $400.
  7. If you buy the quad, do you get to kick the shit out of the moron that put that bumper on the front of it?
  8. You would be amazed what a difference an extra 2 inches will make. Ask your old lady, and she will tell you. :yelrotflmao: Seriously though, that +2 inches is going to make quite a bit of difference in how you hook up. Take that extension out, and you might be amazed.
  9. I would love to try to make it out there for sandfest, but unless I start picking up some overtime between now and then, there is no way I'm gonna have the $$$ to make the trip.
  10. The rest of the post looks serious enough, that I'm afraid he might actually try to find some place to cram that Hot Cam in there. Oh well, if you go thru with it, let me know where you put it, and how it works out for you.
  11. The sand sharks are cheap and durable, but if it were up to me, I'd wait and spend a little more money on some really good tires. In my experience, sand sharks don't hook up for shit.
  12. I'm not running any stickers on mine. I kinda like the "less is more" approach when it comes to stuff like stickers and graphics kits.
  13. I have tried to ride without my glasses, and it gets ugly. I always ride with mine on now, and just got some of the scott or smith goggles that are made to go over your glasses.
  14. I've been hearing nothing but good things about the ITP sandstars for a V paddle. Check them out here. http://www.rockymountainatv.com/productDetail.do
  15. Fuel mileage will probably be worse on the banshee (2 strokes tend to drink the fuel). As far as what pipes to go with, some T-5 or T-6's would probably do really well for you, or a set of the Paul Turner mids.
  16. stock vs stock, assuming equal rider skill, I would assume that the raptor is probably going to out run the banshee. Dump $1000-$1500 into each one though, and it's a different story.
  17. It all depends on what kind of riding you plan on doing. If you want to do a bunch of riding on tight trails, I would go with the raptor 700. If you plan on riding dunes, or anyplace you can really open it up, I'd go with a banshee. As far as maintaining them, banshees really aren't that bad. As long as you don't abuse them too bad, they really aren't bad to maintain at all.
  18. What kind of a setup are you running, as far as pipes, carbs, jet size, etc?
  19. There is very little sand to ride on in Arkansas. About the only places you will find with any sand are the banks of the Arkansas River. I think the closest you are going to find to Rover is down at lake Dardanelle. There aren't any dunes, but I hear there is some sand down there. The closest dunes you are going to find is Little Sahara in Oklahoma, which would probably be 5-6 hours from rover. If you want some more details on where you can ride around there, PM me, and I'll tell you where all there is to ride.
  20. I'm in there now, where are you?
  21. Here is a picture of the swingarm. I've got another picture of it, but I'm having trouble getting it uploaded. I'll post it when I can get it to work.
  22. Pictures sent. Check your e-mail
  23. I was just wondering if anyone in here is planning on heading to mudstock this year. Date on it this year is August 11-13, in Fort Smith AR. I went to it last year, and it was really awesome. There is some ok riding during the day, but the partying at night is awesome. Live bands for most of the night, lots of ladies flashing, chicks going down on each right in front of everyone, wet t-shirt contest on the mechanical bull, and lots of other stuff. If anyone is interested in going, the website for it is http://offroadparty.com/
  24. I've got a -2 Lonestar Swingarm for sale. It is in great shape and comes with the dual row bearing carrier. I'm asking $275 for the swingarm and the carrier, but I will consider other offers.
  25. I've been really happy with the JD Performance A-arms. You can get the +2 +1 arms, powdercoated, with tie rods for $575 plus shipping. They look good, I have yet to have any problems with them, and customer service is excellent.
