  1. Okay origional.....ya got me. Thats a sweet lookin' frame in your sig. And who's motorbike is that?
  2. Wrong? What you just typed was pretty much the same thing I typed....Dave Germain... Lol To the origional poster...just get yourself a new aftermarket billet basket and bolt it to your ring gear.
  3. Hey Jeffrey, I need one outerwear for one of my air filters. If I order one from ya, would that qualify me for another one them snazzy t-shirts? Lol
  4. Sounds like the cushions are worn out. I dont know how you would go about replacing them as the ring gear and STOCK clutch basket are riveted together. Get yourself an aftermarket, billet clutch basket. Make sure that it comes with new cushions tho. Drill the rivets out of the stocker. Replace the cushions and bolt the new basket on to the ring gear.
  5. You do not need the rubbers, with the new clutch fibers and steels. That is with the stock fibers and steels. As far as the springs go, give jeff a call. I got heavy duty clutch springs from him and installed them with no problem.
  6. I'm sure that Jeffrey has a lot of work to be did. I am more than satisfied with the work he did for me. And to the origionator of this thread, going from completely stock to a dune port with some good pipes, you should be grinning from ear to ear with your new engine.
  7. I would like to add to this by typing the words, fuck and shit.
  8. The B8ES should work well for you. I dont know that I would change the heat range depending upon what mods you may have.
  9. You fellers are talking about the little rubber plugs right? #6 www.bikebandit.com
  10. Just picked this up. 1997 GMC C1500 hooptie edition 325,000 miles. All origional.
  11. The teacher asked her class, "what vegetable makes you cry?" To which little johnny replyed, " a turnip." The teacher said, " no, the answer I was looking for was an onion." Johnny said, " no. A turnip. Have you ever been hit in the balls with a turnip?"
  12. I use a couple of different AutoCad programs and add ons pretty much everyday and most of it is 3D. I use it in plant design and its a pretty power tool IMO. Way better than using a pencil. Lol
  13. Also make sure the limiter adjustment screw at the thumb throttle isnt limiting your throttle. Just a heads up. Thats what happed to me. ::
  14. I tried putting a twist throttle on my warrior a long time ago and didnt like it in the least. From my experience, i would rather have a thumb on a quad. I use my arms more with my quad than with my bikes and it was just cumbersome for me. This is just my opinion but the twist throttle just feels natural on a 2 wheeler. Go ahead and try it out. You may actually prefer it.
  15. Happy birthdays fellers.
  16. Sounds like the cushions are worn out. Only way I know of to fix that is to either: Buy a new ring gear/ clutch basket assembly - stocker or drill out the rivets and get an aftermarket billet basket. I would opt for the new billet clutch basket.
  17. No, its not. I didnt put this guy up to post some stupid shit such as that. Everyone knows subjects on this matter should be kept low key. ^^^sideways.
  18. Actually you posted cranckase. j/k I've heard of lotta folk using the rotella t multigrade 15w40 in their motorcycles. It is a good oil.
  19. From my experience, a set of CPIs will put out more power than the FMFs. Not sure how they would work on a MX port though. The CPIs are more of a drag and dune pipe.
  20. The cushions are underneath the clutchbasket and ring gear. Did you install an aftermarket clutchbasket? There is really no way to replace them unless you drill out the rivets on the stocker. You usually replace the cushions when you install an aftermarket billet clutch basket.
  21. Happy belated birthday, mr. whore. :yelrotflmao:
  22. happy belated berfday fellers.
  23. Oh, well in that case...... install a modded shift star or shift kit MAx load or tz bearing on power side of crank pancake bearing mod on clutch
  24. A very good tip would be to make sure to have all your tools and parts within seeing distance at all times when working on your engine. Lol I spent more time chasing down tools and parts that I had misplaced around my house, than I did actually working on the thing. I had lost a clutch spring and took me 3 hours to find out that it had rolled under my couch. :shoothead:
  25. 80 wt is fine. I use 80w maxima MTL in my tranny. The "r" means resistor. Supposed to cancel any interference with radios, tv's ect... Other than that, no difference in the two plugs.
