I know I felt a difference on my ported stock jugs going from cpis to shearers. It should be the same with the cub. just my prefrence but i'd go with the shearers. and the fitment of the stingers around the air filters is much, much better also. :thumbsup: BTW, you gettting your cub ported?

I had some 4mill duneported stock cylinders with 35 pwks and shearers and it was a hella fun motor.

drive the seal in, its 2 sided. lube it up. clymers said one side of the new seal is supposed to say "water side." i dont remember mine saying that but, that side goes twards the impeller. :teehee: then drive the bearing in behind it with the manufacturer's markings on the outside. :thumbsup: clear as mud? lol ooh, after you drive the seal in, make sure the little garter spring around the seal lip didnt come out before you put the impeller in.

If you dont wanna shell out any money, do what I did and just cut all the tabs off the subframe. It will really clean up the back end.

Are you gonna tear those banshee motors down? I need the little water pump gear off the crank, kickstart assembly, kicker gear, the collar that the clutch basket rides on, and one of those seats.

Sorry to take away from the thread. What happened with those hubs that you had lightened? Did you ever run them?

how about all the electrics? harness, CDI, stator, coil & handlebar switch?

Thats premix that has seeped out of the crank chamber. There are 3 or 4 holes in the bottom case half that are filled with somekind of epoxy. The epoxy deteriorates over time. Jeff will fix those if you send them to him. If not fixed now, it will definately create an air leak and eventually ruin your engine.

A 700 rappy makes a really fun play bike. Really good on trails and stuff too. And they sound really good with the dual barkers. :thumbsup: I have not ridden any of the new 450's yet.

You say you have spark? Did you set the gap on the pickup coil? Did you check the other (2) things that you need for a running engine: compression and fuel?
