I pulled in the clutch handle the other day and the clutch wouldn't disengage. The lever on top of the motor that the cable hooks to still moves (very easy) but it don't feel like it's even doing anything. What do you think the problem is?

Really, 6 hp? That's sweet! I'm still running stock reeds with all my mods (see sig.) and getting close to 64hp on a somewhat worn motor. I just freshened up the top-end and I REALLY want to hit the 70hp mark with the stock bore/stroke, you think V-force reeds could get me there???

Don't know if you've already got the wrist pins out or not but I just stuck the sharp end of a test light, or whatever, in that notch in the piston and popped the clips out.

Any way someone could "show" me the torque sequence? I don't have a set of stock heads or a manual to look at.

A friend of mine just put over $2500 into his Z and should have around 40-43 hp now. Very impressive concidering that he started at 30hp! I still like the Banshee's response to mods ($$$$$) much better though. I want to put a good set of reeds in mine this summer to try to push a little closer to the 70hp mark. What do you guys think I will max out at with NO nos and NO turbo. I also want to keep it stock bore and stroke (I kinda like to brag about that).

I pulled the top end apart last fall and now I don't remember how it goes together . My main concern is where all the o-rings go. Are the any that go around the top of the domes near the spark plugs? I really need to start taking pics while I tear stuff apart so I can put it back together! STUPID! STUPID! STUPID! . Thanks for any help.

Anyone use them? It seems like it would feel a little stange to ride with them. Is there any specific purpose for V style bars?

Okay... PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong. If a bottle of octane boost says "114 octane" on it, that means you would have 114 octane if you ran straight octane boost without mixing it with gas. If you mix it with fuel according to what the bottle says "1 bottle to 10 gals of gas", you raise the octane of your fuel 1 point. One point means it would only go from 91.3 to 91.4 for example. No?

Don't know about the whole soap thing but I ran Gadorade as hydrolic fluid for the clutch in my sandrail IT WAS ONLY TEMPORARY!!! Had a leak and lost all my fluid so I couldn't disengage the clutch. Got me back to the truck!

Never heard of not being able to cross the water, we see guys do it all day. You might be right though, they're coming up with some strange rules for riding in that county, so it wouldn't suprise me.
