Firehead is on here because he has done nothing wrong for Loco to ban him. When you become a Moderator on here and have the ability to ban him you can ban him because YOU don't like him. Just because YOU don't like what he has said doesn't warrant Loco to ban him. if you look where he's from you will see Firehead is close to Cascade and probably know the people there personally, ride with them on weekends, etc. I see you are from Michigan and I'm going to assume Bansheefreak89 is too si I have a feeling you guys don't know them like Firehead does, but I could be wrong. He is doing what you are doing for bansheefreak89..sticking up for them. I wil not knock either of you for that... and you should knock him for sticking up for them. We do not know the WHOLE story...the only people who kow what really happen is bansheefreak89 and the lady who took the order. Bansheefreak89....Can I ask a simple question? did you look at their website to see if they have the 22-11-8 10 paddles superlite extremes?? looking at their website they only carry the 10 paddles in superlite haulers not superlite extremes...If they did carry them why didn't you just order them online and print out the reciept so if there was an issue you could prove it with the reciept you printed out. Or you could have gotten the part number off their website and order over the phone using part numbers. this would have left out any cofusion on anyones part. Here is a link to the pages http://67.199.65.66/cascade_innovations/ne...ORE_DEPT_ID=429 YOu say you have ordered from them alot before(which I understod this was the first time you ordered from them from your first post) so why after one messed up order are you going to never order from them again? Now I could understand that statement if your past orders were not satisfactory to you and there were issues everytime you ordered from them. I'm not taking sides. I don't know either of you besides from what I read on here. So don't even try to say I'm taking sides.

I like the fact that after reading this entire topic and seeing that there are a few guys on here that have bought from Cascade once(from what i can tell by what they have said) or have one bad purchasing experience say how awful they are and suck and that they will never buy from them again or as one guy said "will add this vendor to my do not buy from" list after ONE purchase that was not to their liking....

have you tried swapping out the valve stem?? It may have a hole in it from installation... have you tried to reseat the bead on the tire??? Might tgry these if you have not yet. As far as bansheefreak89's issue... we only have one side of the story...and when people are mad or upset they tend to over exagerate(sp?) things as to how it all went down...and from the way things are sounding from other people looking into this for him and trying to help out...sounds like he was the problem...not them.

Hawaii is a nice place..been there a few times....the ATV scene is mainly 4x4 and trails. THERE IS NO PLACE TO RIDE DUNES LEGALLY You may not be worried about that siice you're in NY but do a google search on this, I may wrong. Yes you will be on one of the bigger islands but it can get small and boring fairly quickly...The locals are nice, the women are beautiful, There are lot of military bases there as well...There is big motorcycle scene there....lots of twisties... You can go from one side of the island to the other in about an hour or so. The cost of living there is also higher than here in the states because they have to have everything shipped out to them. Mountain biking is alot pretty big there as well....

You are the only person i've heard of that has had an issue with cascade. They DO STAND behind their product and will correct any screw ups on their part...did you double to check that when you made the purchase that they fully understood what you were ordering? They could have just put 10 paddle superlights and missed the extremes part...Sounds like you are giving up too easily and blaming it on them...

Compression of 160psi is about the area people start thinking about 110 or higher or mixing 50/50...running straight 110 won't hurt anything just isn't needed for anything below the 160 area. the VF3's are a good mod to do....I'd do it in a heart beat...
-
Besides what's listed in your sig do you have any other mods to the motor??? I'd say thast the 350 is a good area to start with on your mains(more than likely going to be rich). When you say you lowered the clip I take it you raised the needle.... Get into your carbs and give us more info on the jets you havein it and where your needle is set...a simple adjustment of your air screw can fine tune the jetting.

If the hit of the powerband of a 2 stroke hitting scares you then get a 4 stroke....This is why the banshee is so awesome....it's like boring boring boring then Oh shit I'm going fast....

i wish everyone selling stuff would do that in their very first post....

Yeah I know I'll need a 10mil crank...Ok so it is 73mm....i wasn't sure if it was 72 or 73 so I just made a guess...what kind of custom domes will i need??
-
Ok so I've been pondering this for a while now and have done some research but have not found any solid answer....I have a Cheetah PV motor and when it needs to be rebuilt i was wondering if i can bore it from 68mm to 72.. to make it a 535cc Cheetah PV motor....i know I will need a new crank and trench the cases but that's still cheaper than building one from scratch....

I need to replace my overflow fuel lines on my carbs on both banshees and don't know the size....Frim what I've found the sizes are close but I have no idea....and I also need to know that size the fuel line is from the tank to the carbs...Thanks in advance

If we weren't on opposite coasts we'd be talking about this....

Ok so I got out and rode my powervalve banshee after rejetting it, again, and it ran just fine. anyway....when i took the clutch cover off I found a bunch of fiber material below the clutch pack and in the cover....it shifted fine and it didn't seem to be slipping...My question is this....what's a good clutch pak to go with.. I am running a stock tranny with 6 heavy duty springs and a hydraulic clutch.....I've heard of people FZR1000 clutch paks but just wanting to get opinions.....any advice is greatly appreciated. Oh this is on my Cheeah PV motor....

Lately I have seen some outrageous prices for banshees on ebay and especially craigslist.... People think their banshee are worht gold...2 examples... saw a 97 banshee for sale...pipes, jet kit, boost bottle, Bigger 26mm aftermarket mikuni carbs, filter pods, bald ass tires(OEM) and new seat....idiot wanted $8k for it...said it was the fastst bike around, saw a '99 drag banshee...bored .010 over, OEM top end, OEM carbs with TORS, +14 swinger with 8 paddle v-blade paddles( Looked like ITP's) FMF pipes. This is just what he listed but the pictures showed a lot more...wanted $14K

yeah i figured that out... a couple people over on DC helped me out.. .When I was explained how jetting worked the dude that explained it to me explained it backwards....basically said the higher you go the bigger the main etc....I will run a 170 main with a 48 pilot and start from there...
-
Ok this is more of a re-assurance question..... I think I have it right....I am getting my banshee's ready for a Pismo trip in June...On my 421 cheetah Powervalve motor I removed the 150 main( for 4500ft elev.) and installed a 142 main with a 45 pilot, air screws 2 turns out. Is this going to be sufficient for Pismo (sea level)?? I have main jets from 142 up to 170. I have one extra set of pilots that are 48's....Any assistance will be greatly appreciated....

no shit why i bought it for soo cheap
Handyman replied to xXBANSHEE_KILLAXx's topic in Roostin' Room
I've got OEM tie rods(in for sale section)... and I just pulled off my polished clutch cover.... the water pump bearing and seal is still good...the only issue is that one of holes for the clutch case insert has some stripped threads....The cover is not pretty and could use some TLC...but otherwise good condition besides the issues I've stated.... -
I also saw this on the ducati website I'm on....this is no joke....he actually did this....
-
if it was me and i dodn't know the history of the bike....I'd go ahead and change the bearings for the extra insurance that they aren't going to go on you after you get it running... It may not need the new bearing but since you're in there....go ahead and replace them..when I tear mine aprart I'm going to replace all the bearings and seals just so i don't have to worry about them going out on me.

A broken Out of frame pipe mount doesn't mean the thing was neglected...With something like that the vibration from running or being hit by something could break that....neglect is letting the thing sit outside getting rusty, never changing the oil, never lubing the chain...etc....just my thoughts...
-
If you givde me the amount they are asking for those I will put thatmoney to better use...Those are a Joke....just like the boost bottle....

So my parts finally came in from Tate...UPS is so damned slow....Anyway, I get the axle out and look it over...ok it's flat black, no big deal....Then I open up the box with all the Candy red PC stuff....His camera sucks and he lies about how good he his....The final product was no where near what his camera portrayed it to be....It was way off...His camera made it look good and made the one area he was having issues with look decent....I was especially interested in this one area...I got it out and looked at it and could not find where this area was with my eye....His work is FOOKING AWESOME....flawless....better than any camera can show. He said that one area was not perfect but damned if I could find that area....The candy red has some depth to it....it's fucking awesome....Awesome guy, flawless craftsmanship, he has earned my business and I have a whole lot more coming from my banshee not to mention I haven't even started sending hi parts from my wife's banshee....Here are some pics Does anyone know what this circle looking thing is in the lower left of the first pic?? It came out of the wrapping from my clutch cover....thinking maybe the kicker seal...
-
I'd say drop to a 300 or a 310 main and see what happens and adjust accordingly from there....I run a 310 in my '99 and the jetting is dead on... You have to remember....Just because your buddies bike is rich with a 310 doesn't mean his bike will be rich....Every motor is different..especially these motors.
