  1. Shhh, enough logic. Back to +12 swingers in the trail.
  2. As long as the valve is functioning and opens to the top of the port, there is no reason it shouldn't on the 500+ CC Cheetahs. All that info about the intakes is irrelavent on a motor that size as each cylinder is actually over 250 CC and there seems to be enough transfer volume to move it. I personally think it he Cheetah is not a drag motor, and guys building them for drag or hill shooting should just be doing a DM. The 250R guys have proved the benefits of power valves for decades in rec riding and various forms of racing other then drag racing.
  3. No. I'm not a drag racer, so I can utilize the Power Valves.
  4. Wow! There's the problem. You are gonna melt that thing down if you keep riding it. Grab your self a 27.5 pilot and main jets from 270-290. Work your way down from 290 just to be safe. I'd bet you dial in around 270-280.
  5. The Fourwerx Carbon hoods are right around $700 new. Hit up Jason R Conti on Facebook.
  6. List every mod and jetting inside the carb.
  7. Meth, shaping today's talent in to tomorrow's talentless...
  8. 80 on -2". About to be 115-120 on -2"
  9. Regina and RK have decent options. Redline has a chain he's been selling and Driveline has newer product out with positive reviews.
  10. How similar are your 24mm DM inframes to Control's 10mil super serval pipes as far as shape and contours? I'd imagine you'd need an adaptor or sleeve on the flange to run them on a cub?
  11. Already sold and parted out long ago.
  12. Running is a felony here. Kind of didn't think much about that in my younger years when it was a constant thing to run.
  13. Buy the kit with just the aluminum brake stay. I also believe Cuervo Racing is doing a very similar set up even earlier on. That said. The stock rear ain't shabby with a quality rotor, pads, and a braided stainless line.
  14. Depends what stuff you're talking about Nick. Machined parts are great. I've heard mixed reviews on custom fabbed parts.
  15. Not quite. I think Zilla may have a dyno sheet. If not look up Kennedy Powersports. He played with them for a while.
  16. There is a whole list of vendors, machinists, engine builders, polishing folks, and just about any thing you could need mild to wild can be found on the home page under site sponsors. Lotta guys are moving to Facebook web pages which sucks, but it's worth checking it all out. Tip on searching the site. Just go to Google. Type "whatever BansheeHQ" far simpler and pulls more relevant content.
  17. Switch to pod filters for your stock carbs and be done with the filter headache. As far as motor combos, if you are serious about making real power the options are endless. But for someone starting out, a 4mil stroker crank and ported stock cylinders can be a really fun motor. 80hp on race gas, 70-75 on pump gas. Something like a Dune port would be sweet for open trails and fire roads like you mentioned. Really a stout and proven combo if done by a reputable builder. No crazy machine work and a minimal learning curve. Something that can wow you, and still be relatively simple.
  18. Cool info in here. Only a matter of time before some one just tells you to get your bearings from a sponsor and quit learning new shit.
