  1. Dude probably used to have an ad with " $3,000 and not a dollar less"! Someone offered him a dollar less and found another one up the street before dude could change his mind.
  2. I'm balls deep in boredom after surgery and I've got another two months to go. So I need a project. Whitbread. The project me and you talked about. Do you think more stroke would need bigger injectors? 535cc?
  3. You mentioned triple. You're not the sort to fuck around, so I'm assuming it wouldn't be a triple stock cyl.
  4. It sounded like since it's a different cylinder, you would have to have chariot or Mattoon make you the right manifold for whatever cyl you have.
  5. NiKKA, dems Be legit MOOSE dub wrapz. On serious note: they are well worth the money spent. They have been around a long time and still look pretty mint. They keep the tires pretty fucking mint. The rubber on my set of 20" cheng shins have 440 kold Kutters in them and they are still in good shape. Some guys ride them through the pits and what not and their tires only make it a season if you wanna be competitive. Plus it helps keep the rubber supple. I just spray the yellow top WD40 over the studs in the spring and they sit in those wraps till the next winter. Some times even with all those studs they still have air 8-9 months later. No dry rot at all for 5 seasons either.
  6. There will definitely be an improvement with these. But, at this point with all the time, money, jerking around, and just plain fucking off at apt, do you think the gains are worth it? Even so, the amount of tuning effort spent being a guinea pig on a self tuning carb is just fucking obscene.-
  7. ^ this is probably one of the best thread mines ever!
  8. That's actually not too terrible. There are a lot of stock type bikes out there with similar compression. The 5 psi difference isn't that big of an issue, however it is definitely getting to be time for a rebuild. Remember, doing a rebuild before an explosion is always cheaper then after.
  9. This your stuff http://www.bansheeapparel.net/ ? Either way I dig the fact that people are mixing banshees and apparel. Also, if you change the title to a sleazy line like "sexy models on your Banshee" it might help bring a lot more stuff out of the wood work.
  10. My solution: Get in to ice racing! Quite a few years we had lame winters here up till recently. Got rid of the sled mentality since there was no snow to ride in, but we had plenty of ice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  11. There was a member here that actually manufactured the ski fronts. They were pretty legit. I think he just put paddles or 4snows on the back. Don't remember his name or company, but with a good time spent on searching it would probably come up. I don't see it being worth what most companies ask though. For that price you can buy a decent sled and maybe even something that would be really nice with minimal work.
  12. ok, sure. But I've made a claim and it was undisputed as it was still protected. Try that after clicking the gift button. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  13. ^ sort of figured it out, eh?
  14. It's fucking simple. We are all friends here at HQ. You are simply purchasing goods from a friend. This transaction is protected unlike regular "gifted" payments. All purchases I have made on here lately have been that way and the seller has never had to pay fees nor have I. Do it how you want. Pay the fees or risk getting took. Don't bitch if it's the latter of the two if you were given a better option.
  15. Ya, but if it was one of those folks I bet it would of been included. Also any one with one of those motors would know the answer to the OP's question. Side note, it is fucking sweet when you see 350 stockers destroy cub cylds in similar chassis set ups.
  16. Mmmmmm, that is good reading if you can find it when it was live. Andy had a few tweaks though.
  17. What are you wanting to do with the bike? If you are adamant about keeping stock stroke, bother the serval and regular cub platforms will definitely give you a gain. The cub would be more drag, hill shooter, open dune friendly. Where as the serval will give you a bit more of a broad curve through to the mid range, which is more suited for trails, gravel pit, tight idiot hole dunes, etc. Either way, they should out perform your stockers.
  18. Need more time sanding. That crazy finish you see on show car paint is due to the 2000 grit wet sand. Sand in a x pattern through each grit thoroughly. I like to run each grit dry, then wet.

  20. Where did you find the carbs then? I want metal screws for my real PWK's?
  21. Reasonable reason to go bigger. But, what is the current chassis?
  22. Oh damn!
