reeds-yes new carbs-not really Unless your ported, stock carbs ,though they are junk, should be fine Reeds are a pretty good mod. You would like em'. Get your flywheel lightend at the same time. Then that sucker will wind-up in a heart beat

Not unless you rip it-just be carefull when you remove the cover and you should be fine... The timming plate is a killer mod for the money dude-you'll luv it fro sure!!!!

An aftermarket head-like a Noss head would also be a good idea. But you most deffinitly gain the most power threw porting. A ricky stator adjustable timming plate is another great idea-there only $35 bucks and you can really tell a differance!!!!

damn that a lot of compression!!! Ive got 19cc. domes and im around 130psi. Though I do have a good size port, I still think it might be time for a new top end.

Dont worry about em' just zip tie them together on the frame somewhere. Just make sure theres nothing leeking out of them--that could mean somethings up.

I think you can have them coated from Jet Hot. They have chrome like finnishes.

though they are spendy, theres no better carb than some custom Lectrons from Packard.

Na, If all your doing is adding 3 or 4 degrees to your timming, Pump gas would be fine. But im also guessing that your compression isnt any higher than around 150psi. You wont have to worry about using race fuel untill you go to +7 or higher-or much higher than 150 psi.

well, I guess im not goin out this saturday seeing how it's about 2 degrees out side. I took my shee down the street today, and I could'nt feel my hands of about an hour. And that was only a 2 min. ride. Sall good. Just gives me more time to tinker with it.
