  1. I don't know but thats a bad deal.
  2. install the 13 tooth, you'll like it more.
  3. did you retorque after first heat cycle?
  4. Here are the remaining photos that I could not fit in the above post.
  5. I got pics and a good email explaining a lot of the same details of being busy. Tanner expressed real contrition on the late completion of the plastics, and I appreciate that, however he still does not understand my viewpoint on the lack of communication creating undue stress on both of us and an atmosphere of distrust. As long as they show up looking as awesome as they do in these photos sometime next week or the week after, I shall be extremely happy with the results. They were indeed worth the wait as I am highly impressed with the quality of Tanner's work and am pleased that he took the appropriate time to make them what they seem to be. Thank you, Tanner! I hope Tanner is able to lower his own stress level over what he deems a misunderstanding, because I am now satisfied and just hope that in the future he will pay more mind to how important communication can be to a consumer.
  6. Yes, I never really believed that he was trying to steal it, although it would certainly not appear to be above suspicion, but the lack of communication only compounds it. If he would have said that he was busy, had several large jobs that he was doing to support his family and that he was not making anything on mine, and I was going to be moved back in the line, I would absolutely understand. But when someone disappears off the map, it does not look good, especially when a person is a business. It is respectful to communicate with the customer and the customer can reciprocate with respect in understanding the circumstances.
  7. This is what I got today. Hello Kraig this is Joe with TW Kustomz and i have a note here to update you on your plastics. They were shipped Thursday, not monday, they were sent parcel post due to size and surcharge cost. Please allow 10-14 days for delivery. They have no tracking number that i can find but i'm sure that you can contact your post office and see if you have any packages being delivered. I will email pictures of your plastics to you tonight when i get to my home computer so i can access a USB cable for the camera. They are very sharp. Black base with metallic gray "smoke". We are very sorry for the lack of communication between you and us but we have 67 people that we have to contact and keep updated. We wouldnt trade our reputation for a set of plastics and $100. Sorry that you are at such a misunderstanding. I believe that all out of state business is over. it is too hard to keep contact with people. Please email us if you have any questions. we apreciate your business. Thank you Mr. Kestie for your business. I'm not sure what I misunderstood, I called and called- no one answered. I'm not that bright but I was able to figure that out. so if I get pic you all will too---- and from now on let us all understand ( ok I'll stop now )
  8. As you see in my sig. I have a big bore stroker. The thing to keep in mind is that not one thing is going to be the " silver bullet ", it's a combo of everything. a buddy that rides with my group has a stock motor, ported with pipes. He weighs 40 pounds less than I do, my bike is a 100 cc bigger than his, if I don't use the NOS he wins. he has the right combo for his weight. When I went to the four mill I didn't feel the hit I expected, same with the 7 mill, but 68.5 mm pistons, reeds, the right head, the right cdi box, adjusting the timing, the proper fuel, on and on. now atfer 5 motors and thousands of dollars I can almost do what a 160 pound guy can on a stock motored banshee. look for the right combo, maybe it's not a stroker or a big bore.
  9. This is what I got: Hey man i finally got the time to get on here! Heres the deal, my guy up front is out today but should be back this afternoon..i looked on his desk and i found a piece of paper that says U.S. Postal Receipt..i dont know anything about tracking numbers or shipping or anything but the number on here is 906 909 213...it says it costs 24.46 and it weighs 14 lbs so that sounds about right..it has no address but you can check and see if it's yours..otherwise i will try to call him again later and if i dont get ahold of him today he will be here tomorrow for sure! thanks for your patience! it is GREATLY apreciated! Everyones watching........
  10. thats what mine is doing right now, runs fine , no lights. bad lighting coil.
  11. got a return call today. he says my plastics were sent a couple of days ago, we'll see.
  12. you're right, I didn't send him the plastics off my bike just because I figured their was a 50% chance that he was a crook, but he wanted to get his buisness going - I took a chance on him bought some plastics so that if they end up in a police station and I never get them back it's not that big of a deal. As for as the money goes- I sent him 135 bucks, I just couldn't see anyone trashing their rep for that, but now here we are. He's running from his phone, he's running from this forum ( he hasn't been on since sep. 9 ) soon he''l be running in his hometown, why, for what gain? a set of plastics I bought used off of ebay and not enough money to buy a tank of gas and dinner for him and his girlfriend? sad, all it cost him was trust and respect, he will never come back here, this has gone to far for him to recover anything lost.
  13. going to call him at least five times today and everyday till I get an answer, but he knows my phone number and he's not going to answer.
  14. Every time I put reed spacers in, I lost bottom end. As far as lightening your flying wheel for a smoother pull, a lightened flywheel would make your power band more erratic (it's that whole intertia thing). I live in Idaho and we ride from 3500 up. When my motor was more stock than it is now, I ran 18 domes (like everybody else here) and a Boondocker nitrous system on premium fuel without any trouble. As far as the nitrous kit, you are going to hear a lot of crap and people pooh-poohing it on this forum, but the Boondocker kit in this application is second to none. If you can jet your bike, you can dial in this nitrous kit. Boondocker is in my back yard, I put my first Boondocker kit on my Banshee 3 1/2 years ago. Since then, I now have one on my snowmobile, I have a kit for my street bike, and I have installed no less than 15 different kits on other people's snowmobiles and 4-wheelers/motorbikes (my wife just now found out that I have one for the street bike--now I'm in trouble and I'm holding you personally responsible, this is your fault). I have never lost a motor to a Boondocker kit, ever. I lost some to a NOS kit. So give them a call up there in Idaho Falls, do a little bit more research around here on the net, but for the sand dunes, there is nothing like the feeling of hitting that button. Just my opinion, from my experience.
  15. every ported piston I've had crack.
  16. I live in Idaho, having trouble justifing the trip for 300 bucks worth of plastic, if you go get mine too. this sucks!
  17. we're git'n screwed my freind, thats what's happen'n.
  18. no reply, I'll bet anyone a dollar my plastics are not on the way.
  19. 38's are huge, I don't know that your banshee will have the air velocity to make things work right.
  20. raise your needle see if it gets better or worse.
