  1. How do you you go about selecting a base pressure and weight to start with? Guess and check? Or is there some kind of formula for determining hp/tq needs this amount of weight and pressure? I tried this at the last race I was at, got the clutch to slip but as soon as the lock up weight hit the bike bogged... I was kinda dumbfounded this stuff actually worked lol
  2. Probably a whampus cylinder if I had to guess... It's a cub cylinder that cp industries cast to look like stock cylinders.... They even made a stock head look alike that accepts removable domes...

  7. Selling my 10 mill super cub . Ported by Titan racing. Comes with cylinders pistons domes noss head vf3 reeds upp 39mm intakes, crank works 10mill 120 rod crank, tz on pto side max load on stator side, non chain wacked cases port matched trenched and bored for top end and a dunable 1-5 n down override. Basiclly add your clutch stuff and stator stuff and your ready to go. Building a 10 dm this winter. Looking to get 2000 obo plus the ride for it.
  8. What i ment was, if you could find a tire that would hook alot harder to where you could gear the bike for a 2nd gear launch and cross the line in 5th rather than 4th... but seeing now that you have a 1-4 m5,6 thats gonna be alil hard to do lol thanks for the reply

  12. i agree with what others have posted... if you actually broke clutch fibers something in the clutch setup is wore out or warped... do a real close inspection on all of the clutch parts. my brother and i have been running fast clutches for years without issues... why dont ya wanna run a lock up? you are making a ton of tq and trying to put it to the ground with a clutch basket, inner hub and pressure plate that was designed around a 35hp motor.... as far as launching on pavement and getting it to hook... i would invest in some american racer tires.... really hard to get nobbies to hook on pavement.....
  13. a drag chassis is lighter... transfers weight better and it is also more controlable if and when it decides to lift the front tires..... i went for years telling myself i didnt need to spend the money on a drag chassis, had my stock frame cut up as light as i could get it.... added chrome alloy where ever i could... finally one day i got to ride a bike that was on a drag chassis and all it took was one ride for me to realize i was wasting my time with the stock frame and i bought a drag chassis...
  14. why did you decide a 1st gear launch is better than a 2nd? just curious.... did you have to change up tires when going to a 1st launch or just gearing? was wondering if ya went to a harder hooking tire if you could get away with less gear so you could use more if the trans gears.....?
  15. had my wheelman chassis for 2 seasons now... done everything from dune drags sand drags and even threw some american racer tires on it and did some asphalt racing with it.... handles great and hasnt let me down yet..... give chris a call he can hook ya up
  16. plenty of 10mills out there with 115 and 120 rod cranks in them.... both run hard.... i would pick a builder and go with what he says to go with.... my 10 mill super cub has a 120 rod 10mill crank in it and i have had zero issues with it.... pins are bigger on both ends of the rods and it uses bigger wrist pin bearings... i feel its a stronger setup then the 115 rod cranks but i have seen some 115 rod cranks take some serious hits of spray and live to see another day lol

  21. Anyone have a set of stock headlights Layin around? Looking for old school plugs 87-90 or what ever the first style was... Or will take newer style ones and swap the plugs onmy harness... Let me know what ya got and how much
