  3. I have not heard of him....this means nothing..there are lots of people out there willing to work on your stuff...I called Jeff and he seemed like a great guy...very good price I thought so I sent it off.....He says it will run hard and that is what I want.....D
  4. Contact Jeff at F.A.S.T. he presently has my motor and I am going to run it with the T6's....I am also running a noss head with 19's and advanced timing...have not decided on the carbs yet....(read money)?..I will tell you how it runs when I get it back together....D

  10. Hey I am thinking about moving on to bigger and better......wanting to sell my stock carbs (with thumb cable), reed blocks and pro series reeds, and toomey 2-1 air cleaner w/ outer wear....tell me if you want any of them...Open to offers...dont really know what to ask for them....Thanks D
  11. If it is getting too hot I would check to see if the cooling system is working properly and does not have air in it....(Air lock) this will cause it not to flow and thus overheating.....D We have had two banshees come into the shop that I work at and this was the issue....D

  13. I am running the Toomey needle and stock pilot....My bike had a hard time until I turned the air screws in all the way and then out a half of a turn.....runs great at 4800' and 270 mains...Grand Junction, CO. D...
  14. I run Toomey's T6 with a 2 into 1 filter system and +4 timing...I have a 270 mains in mine and runs great.....I am at 4800' feet in colorado....good luck..D
  15. I have the alba kit with the elkas....I like it..I went out riding with a stock suspended banshee and z400..we all switched bikes and they raved about how the front end worked and it made the stock banshee feel old and unstable...still working on the settings, but like them so far...D
  16. I think the AMA has regulations that does not permit EFI...ATK has the old Can's, but I have not seen them in any big AMA events...D

    RD 400

    Hello....looking to get some cheaper transportation....thinking about an old RD 400....anyone have one or know of one for sale.?.I have checked ebay..seems that most are out east and I am in Colorado...So..wanting something closer. D
  20. I have T-6 and I love them....great pipe...I also just recently advanced my timing by +4 and bike rips...And I am going to port the motor soon and keep my T-6 and run them on the ported motor....I will update when it happens...D

When you take your old arms off keep the all the hardware....dust caps, bolts and the metal races that are between the bolts and the delron bushings...what I am saying is that you need all stock hardware. Wiith the alba arms all you get are the arms and the new bushings....everything else that is needed for installation comes from the stock arms...pm me if you have any more question...D Tie rods look good....nothing special......but good..
  22. I have a Banshee made and imported from Canada and it has the 17# vin...I also work part time at a dealership and we look at the 10th digit for year.. I have never seen a 9 digit vin sorry I am no help...good luck...D
  23. you can also try the air mixture screws....screw them in will cause a richer condition..if it is solved great or better then pilots are too small. effective range i believe is half turn out to two and one half turns out...good luck..D
