  1. Your jets are waaayyy too big. I think you have another problem.
  2. Sounds about right to me.
  3. No, you dont want to use a 3 jaw puller. It could damage the flywheel. They make a puller that threads into the center of the flywheel. I know Jeff (FASTOYS) has them in stock. You might send him a PM. Or you could visit his website. I have a link at the bottom of my signature. Here is a link to a picture of the tool you need. http://www.farmandsandtoys.com/partdetail.asp?partid=71
  4. Good job chevrolet banshee! Thats some funny shit right there!
  5. As a member of both HQ and PS I agree. I almost never go on PS for a couple of reasons. I have been on there when they are dogging HQ and they are not very friendly to new members. I am on HQ all day long, literally. The only reason I ever go on PS is if this site is down (which happens to be quite often lately). If they have a problem with someone just saying the name BansheeHQ then we should not support them whatsoever. Also, some sort of moderators would be nice. Not necessarily to erase posts but to put stuff in the correct area when its posted wrong.
  6. WOW! That was a little bit of a reach on that one. First of all, I never said that I didnt care about it. I said that I dont like to see it and that I dont agree with it. No, I wouldnt let my kid watch it because the video portrays cruelty in my opinion. I never argued that fact. I just was commenting on the fact that they are KILLING them the same way that you would kill a fish by cutting their throat. By the time you cut a dolphins head off completely, it is probably going to bleed out. The other things you are talking about are just ridiculous. Are you telling me that when you hunt (deer anyway) and you dont get a one shot kill and they run off into the woods that they are dying peacefully and quick? While I dont have a problem with hunting or fishing, I've done them both, they are not the most humane thing in the world either. I dont think that anyone said anything about littering, dumping washers and dryers, dumping carcasses (sp) in the water, or dumping your oil in the yard and they have nothing to do with the initial thread. I dont agree with the things that are in that video and I stated that so dont distort the things that I said. Thank you.
  7. While I dont like to see this, and I dont know if it is legal or not, do you fish? How do you kill the fish when you are cleaning it? You cut its head off. It appears to me that it is legal for these people to do this since they are openly selling the meat. Like I said, I think it sucks, but, how would you like these guys to kill them? Gas them? Also, all of these petitions that float around on various websites, I never hear if they help or not. I think that if nobody ever hears results, its makes them more of a nusance (sp) than anything. I think what you are trying to do is great and I hope that it helps. Just my opinion.
  8. I thought he was trying to trade 2 cases of DP for a lowering kit. Trading a lowering kit for 2 cases, now thats an addiction!!! I am actually suprised that nobody has jumped on this, it is a good deal. Good luck!
  9. I'll take one!
  10. Yeah, like once a day. I dont know if Lee is working on the site or what. Its kind of annoying.
  11. I work at a Chevy dealership and I know what you are talking about. If the car is not something that is very common the salesmen dont know shit about them. If they arent going to make any money on a sale they dont even want to help you. That bullshit about costing the same as one of the higher end vehicles just because you order it is a way to scare you off. They should be able to "locate" one for you and have it transported to their lot for around $500. Dont give up, you will find one. If they dont want to help you, ask for the new car manager or the general manager and tell them your situation. It will be handled from there.
  12. WTF??? Are you kidding me?
  13. Damn, 19! What I wouldnt give to be 19 again. Those were the good ol days. Happy birthday Dinner!
  14. Happy birthday Travis!
  15. I will be there.
  16. Good stuff, good stuff.... HAHAHA!
  17. He NEEDS someone to answer the phones. I took off work early yesterday to go to his place and holy crap that phone rings off the hook. I dont know how he gets anything done.
  18. Happy birthday! Its not listed on the site, but it is his birthday. Sorry bigboybanshee, I just started a thread too. I should have scrolled down a little.
  19. Welcome to the HQ! Keep your eyes on the for sale forum for a motor. You will probably not get one that runs for $500 but motors seem to be on there quite often. Also, you might think about buying another bike for $1500 - $2000 and keep the motor and part out the rest to make some of your money back. Good luck.
  20. Here is a link to DOTD's bike that he sold a couple of months ago. I though his bike looked good with the six pack rack on it. His was an AC bumper. I was thinking about buying one for my bike so that when I go to the St. Anthony dunes I can throw it on for that trip. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...mp;#entry632171
  21. I dont think I have any pics of my cases but they were powder coated. Looked really nice.
  22. We will be at Sand Hills also. I will be in spot #8 I think it is. See you there!
  23. Contact Don at Sandrat Haven on the north end. I can get you his number if you need it.
  24. I disagree. I believe you could run with a cub if you have dual carbs. You may not beat one but you could be close. It all depends on what is done to the cub motor. If it hasnt been cleaned up or ported. My old bike used to run pretty good against them and it was a stock cylinder motor dune/play ported by Jeff, VForce II reeds, T5s, stock carbs, on pump gas. I had a +4 swingarm with 6 paddle Brats. My friend has a cleaned up cub with VForce II, 35s, CPIs, race gas, +4 swingarm with 9 paddle extreme Haulers. When I raced him we would swap wins. Now, if you were racing motor against motor, probably not. But, there are a lot more factors to consider. As bansh-eman and SoCalinIt said, you arent racing just the motor. You have the riders weight and experience, the bikes weight, motor builder, swingarm length, paddles, etc.... Like I said, it is possible, I have done it several times!
