I've had my plastics painted a few times but when I do that I am always afraid that I scratch or chip it. I thought that maybe with a wrap I wouldnt have to worry about it so much

I was kinda wondering if you were going with a wrap or if he was painting them for you. They should look great. I cant wait to see them. I was tinkering with the though of him doing a wrap for me when the time comes.

What are you running for air pressure? I ran 8 inch 6 paddle Brats with around 4 lbs in them with no problems. I have never popped a bead on a paddle tire and I know I have ran the Brats almost flat a few times.

Haulers are good paddles. I think part of the reason most people go with an 8 inch wheel vs. a 9 or 10 is one of two things: 1 - Think of an 8 inch wheel and paddle as kind of a wrinkle wall slick, a little more traction. You wouldnt put 20s on a dragster would ya? 2 - 9 and 10 inch wheels add to the bling factor a little more and to some people that is important. Just my .02

One of my friends has a 2000 Banshee that he bought new and installed chrome T5s and they still look great to this day. I dont think you could go wrong buying T5s.

I think the elevation is quite a bit different for you guys though. He is at 700 ft. and you are in Washington which I would assume is a lot higher. I dont know though.

The only thing you changed was putting the airbox on it? You had the same jetting and carb and everything? If so I would say that you are a little fat because you are restricting the airflow a little. I am no pro at this, but that would be my guess.

That would be cool if he did go to RCR and race his dads number eventually. I dont know that she will bankrupt the company completely. I think you will see the actual racing end of it go down the tubes but the sales of the Dale Sr merchandise will probably keep the DEI name afloat and it will end up like FireHead said, a museum.

I also heard that he there is a small chance that he will start his own team. What have you heard Firehead, or can you not say anything?

I read a couple of articles on this yesterday. It kinda sounds more like he is leaning towards Hendrick right now. He wants to go to a team that has a pretty firm grasp on the COT and Hendrick is kicking ass right now. I think DEI is going to bomb now. I think it is great that Budweiser is staying with Jr and not going with DEI. It would be a huge mistake if they didnt. Teresa is an idiot. Just my .02
