  1. Yep...I'm picking up a 400EX that I'll flatten one rear tire and one front tire to make it interesting for you...
  2. Cool beans. Once I get my build done we can pair up and head out to White Lake...not quite as busy, and not NEARLY as windy. Good group of my friends go out there, too!!
  3. PM jankab and gasman, see what they have. I know they have some for alky, possibly for gas as well...not sure.
  4. it's all good...shit, we're neighbors. I'm in St. Clair Shores.... I'm in the process of building a stock frame 10 mil cub, hoping I can give you a run for the money... I'll post it up when we're gonna head on out. Bunch of my buds have already been going out there.... You got a pic of your bike so I know who to look for?
  5. Ray... I'm bidding on the box of bolts. You mind meeting up or me coming out to you to pick those up instead of shipping 'em, should I get 'em? thanks....
  6. Count on it...I'm hoping my build is done end of February.... I've got a ground up project coming along, should be fun!!! It's exit 243, by the way!!
  7. AMEN to that!!! I got my 96 shee in 05 with 115PSI and it started and ran great. Ripped. Beat on it all year... end of the year, they were at 110, took 5 to 8 kicks to start, warmed it up correctly...and still ran pretty good. I see your point though... Why chance it. I just think at 120PSI and sea level, someone that rides alot will be doing a LOT of re rings... I always try to err on the side of caution (especially jetting)...I just don't go that far, personally...
  8. JD...you go out to White Lake?
  9. Holy Shit Banchetta....Not sure where you went to..., but this takes the cake for sure. Good stuff....
  10. Braxton, This is not about the money, more about the point. I sent you a 6 over used XRING chain for free, all you had to pay was the shipping. I asked for 12.00...actual cost was 11 and change. Paypal or Money Order, etc. You send me a envelope with 10 bucks in it, cash. Free chain, cost me about 100 bucks..with one season on it. And you want to play that game over 2 bucks? And like most else on here, you sure took your time getting it to me....as well. None of us are rich millionaires....but if you can't afford to be in this game, don't. Get out or be honest about it. YES, I did tell you no big deal, no big hurry....but, c'mon. Everyone I've dealt with on here, selling or buying, I've been more than 100% square with. Often shipping parts before I got payment, sending tracking numbers quickly, and often PMing members with tracking numbers AND telling them it was delivered and checking their satisfaction. Here is the PM I sent you, notice what it says AND the date it was sent...and I just got the 10 bucks cash in the mail today.... Re:Chain...address...sorry, Jan 10 2007, 03:21 PM Gary, paypal me 12.00 to dajogejr@Email Addy Deleted Fed Ex Express saver came to 11.15... Fed Ex tracking is 907212470484 Couldn't find a Master Link...Jeff @ Fast Racing can get you one for it if needed, they're a few bucks. See ya... Dave
  11. Mid 120's are always what I've found...
  12. On_3_See_Ya also has a complete motor he may consider parting out. PM him as well...I know his cylinders are very aggressively ported...
  13. How do you plan on riding? Is it softer, forgiving sand or wet, packed sand? Drag, duning, etc???? Generally you run the lightest you can. Those that drag more than dune will go blue label, the thinnest (lightest) but...the .160 Black are mid-way between strength and weight.....
  14. Sorry Banchetta...while I respect your views and knowledge, under 120 PSI with a quality tester doesn't require a rebuild IMO. They only come with 123 to 129 PSI Stock.... Talking sea level here...BTW. I'd say under 105PSI or if the cylinders are more than 10PSI or 10% of each other difference. Under 120PSI IMO still has a lot of life left on that top end....
  15. That's what I thought...but I couldn't find any documentation (in a quick 5 second search) to back that up... Thanks!
  16. I agree...he took and gave some pretty impressive shots to the head. He even took the good ol left foot to the head pretty well, granted it wasn't a square kick...rather it grazed him...it still didn't tickle I'm sure!!! I thought the fights were kinda boring myself!!!
  17. At 3/4 throttle, you're still on the end of the needle just getting into your mains. I'd bet your main is off, what do the plugs look like?
  18. A little gap is fine. A LARGE gap is not. Ditch the reed spacers and the boost bottle, neither is doing you any good. If you have an airbox with a lid, I'd say you're close on the mains. 35 is WAY too big as noted. Since it's cold there in philly as in detroit, 250 to 280 mains is probably gonna be where you end up.
  19. Larger pilot, drill out the mains, drill out the dump tubes...and add a power jet. Sizes to drill vary a little ...based on the mods for your engine, temps, elevation...etc. Someone here can give you some ideas where to start. Also, you do know with Kehins if you drill out the dump tubes, you can NOT go back to gas, those tubes are not removable.... Also...you want to think about fuel delivery, several ways to do it, depending on what you're using the bike for. Dual pingel valve, bigger float bowls, removing a float and a fuel pump are all methods used widely...
  20. Dave Moore would disagree about "less torque" with a shaved flywheel...and his word is gold as far as I'm concerned... http://www.davemooreracing.com/flywheel.php I say go for it.
  21. Yeah, If I had a twist on my cub, I'd probably have some good footage of a train wreck highlight reel.. I had a twist on my T5, Pod filter Stock port motor. This was before I put the lightened flywheel and timing advance on. Pretty much what Jim has...other than a cool head with 18cc domes....and it was tricky to ride. MY 10 mil will be a strictly drag/dune (80/20) and I'm STILL going to keep a thumb on it.
  22. Yes....good call. A stock cable that is meant for the stock TORS system will be too long for aftermarket carbs. You need a throttle cable that is meant for the bike with the TORS removed....
  23. GLOW... Vitos makes rubber boots for the back of the carbs going into the stock airbox... http://www.vitosperformance.com/atv_parts/...=181&page=1
