  1. Got a link to this porter? If it is this guy, I would trust him. Not only because he's from Michigan too, but he's a member here and on PS, I've talked to him quite a few times over the years, on phone and PM...as well as done biz with him. Also, I've seen his port work as well as rode two bikes that had it done. So...that being said, I'd trust him. I can't speak out of personal experience for the other ebay porters... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Banshee-Cyl...Q2em118Q2el1247
  2. I agree... Pull it all down and check bearings/seals. If it blew a hole in the top, those particles went somewhere. And flushing always doesn't get it done....
  3. I got my prodesign from a friend used, gave it to me...and I've used it that last two years without issue in my 4 mil and now 10 mil cub. If the price is similar or close from Vitos to prodesign, I say go with the PD. even though the Vitos very well could be just fine, PD makes nice stuff.
  4. I agree w/ Tyler, firefox iz da shiznit yo..... It is just like using Microsoft Word as a word processor...underlines misspelled words, you right click on the underlined words....and you left click on the correct spelling. Often it gives you a few choices/variants of the word you misspelled. You don't have to be a spelling whiz, but....some basic punctuation and some proper spelling sure makes solving problems easier to read and understand. If you have one long run on sentence in your question, I'll ask you to break it up and punctuate it to make it easy to read. If you have to re-read something 3 times and you're still guessing what the hell the user is trying to say....I skip it and go to the next one.
  5. 100 plus staples and 60 or so stitches... You guys aren't seeing the bad side...the inside of his leg....
  6. Yep...you watch that happen, realize how lucky everyone involved is...and start with a new perspective on things in a hurry... There ain't no guarantees in life...enjoy it....
  7. When you start getting into big power and longer arms, you're gonna need more than cold cutters. You'll need this...plus more (believe it or not, with 48 picks in each tire, it spins them easily until about 3rd gear) I would use double the picks and a wheelie bar to make it interesting... And this is what happens when things go wrong, good friend of ours...took his 3rd or 4th pass on my bike and things got ugly. He's doing well..just gotta heal up now.
  8. Yep, he was out....I walked up to him and we kinda just said hey...talked for a minute. Sorry I could talk to ya more, lots of things going on.... Frank is ok, went home last night. That guy was still worried about my bike in the ER Brady said...what a doof...fuck the bike..... I'll give him a call personally after work today to say hi, see how he's feeling. I got a feeling rest and good pain medication is going to be in his future.....
  9. Sorry, but if it's not an override, dunable or regular, it's not shifting like one.... It might upshift better with the clutch, he may be able to power shift it with no clutch, I promise no matter what kind of forks you have in there the tranny won't last long....
  10. 60% tread left on stockers..... WOW....Banshees came OEM with Razr Tires, huh? Yep, this bike has it all... I would like to know how it measured out to be a 420 stroker....
  11. Jeff will tell you get either the shift pro kit (which is a bigger wheel and lighter spring) OR the rounded shift star, but not both.
  12. To be 100% honest, 45 to 48 is nothing, you could tune that with the air screw....
  13. Check your jets again. They don't make a 33.5. It's 25 (stock) 27.5, 30 and 32.5...they go up by 2.5 increments. Stock pilot, 290 main is a good start. Do you have a pro flow kit to seal the air filter against the air box front? Tight seal on the carb boots? From 64mm stock to 65mm bore (.040) is almost half the usable life of the cylinders on the first bore.... I'm not saying it doesn't happen...but damn, how bad was it....
  14. Not to sound like a smart ass, but they require you to go to the store and get the correct one....not a longer screwdriver. measure what comes out of them...and get the right one....or else your next thread will be how come my bike doesn't start, idle, etc., correctly....and who in their right mind is going to guess the wrong type of pilot in there.
  15. KAOS, put them on Ebay. You will get lowballed to shit on here and PS, in my opinion... Ebay will sell them, MUCH broader marketplace.....
  16. If your girl is anywhere on that vid, Simon....count me in for TWO!! LOL...just kidding man... PM me the details, I'd like one too...
  17. You got it.... I've been called a lot worse, Dave will do....
  18. PM John Austin (NYUK on here) He'll probably buy that bike cash, he's in Philly...
  19. Nooner or sooner!!!! We're both in the same hood (the shores here...) so...I'm thinking of leaving my house around 10 or 11...
  20. And that's what the classified section is for.....
  21. Sorry homie, 20 minutes from home or a little over an hour...pretty easy sell...
  22. Lot of people going to the bay this weekend, brother newtz has a ride and is coming out Sunday to the bay...so, a LOT closer drive for me JT, gonna go rip it at the bay. You guys are welcome to stop by my crib on the way home to warm up...hang out if you want!!
  23. Fair enough... Well...we have a change of plans, I guess we're all gonna hit anchor bay Sunday, probably 11 or 12 till...whenever.... My bike is pictured below, I have an 06 silver RAM with dajogejr and FAST racing stickers on the back. Come on out if you can, please stop by and say hi if you can...
  24. Hey...SVRD...just curious where you had all your work done and who dyno'd it. Kawiking is a friend of mine, and you live minutes from me, I'm in the Shores....hell, we're neighbors...he was asking me about the setup. Who do you hang out/ride with? Speaking of...hitting the ice this weekend, you coming out? (Thread on PS about it..)
  25. Just screw them in. They aren't going to bite enough to make a HUGE difference...Two per rear knob is usually ok, you don't want to over stud it with screws. To get real traction, you're going to need shaved tires with ice picks or ice chisels, same as they use for snowmobile tracks....
