  1. Actually, no it doesn't. I have no idea how to check float height but I have a clymers and I will also do some searching on it.
  2. Ok, I will look into that... thanks!
  3. Well, I am putting everything back together after removing the tors. I had a shop do the drilling for the new idle screws and they also cleaned the carbs. Right now I am bogging off the line and my right carb is leaking gas like a mofo out the bottom drain hose. I am going to try messing with the needle tomorrow for the bogging but what are some reasons why the one carb would leak so much. After the initial trial run and having the gas leak. I took apart the one carb and it seemed ok. I ran it again and it did not leak this time till I shut her off and then it started leaking again when not running.? Got any ideas?
  4. for the rear wheels i have no idea?
  5. DO IT DO IT DO IT! You will not regret it!
  6. Pm boonman, he does a fine job! And quick!
  7. IMO, you should just pick up some extra main jets and maybe some pilot jets. That is all you need to rejet for mods. If you give more info, like your elevation, the guys on here are pretty good and could give you a ballpark of where you need to be. And you can go from there.

    Needles

I still need at least one needle, but a pair would be great. Please let me know if you have any laying around. john
  9. Shit, you'll love em. Don't forget to rejet!
  10. Yeah, I did this while trying to get rid of the tors. I will check the stealership on monday but as usual, I am concerned of their inventory. F'n sucks though. Just when I figured out what the hell I was doin I drop the damn thing. Thanks Ellison, I will get back to you monday if I can't find any!
  11. I bent a damn needle when I dropped my slide on the ground. Where can I get replacements? Or, if someone has some, I need them asap.
  12. There are always a few in our "cycle trader" in the twin cities area. If you can't find any I can mail you a copy or something.?

    anyone have?

I was wondering if anyone uses +1+1 arms. If you do, what kind of shocks do you run?
  16. Thanks for the advise guys. I have decided to just add a coolhead and some v-force for now. I will wait till I become a little better rider before I go mental fast.
  17. I do have a clymers. And trust me, it is full of greasy fingerprints allready. The only thing I worry about the whole porting thing is getting it back together without doing any damage to the pistons/rings.
  18. Check my mods below. Here is what I am thinking next. A coolhead and some v-force 3's. I was contemplating porting but am a little shy about ripping into my engine when it is relatively so new, and i've never done it. Any ideas from the pros?
  19. I would think you could get one locally for a good deal. Check the cycle trader. Last time I looked, there were quite a few for sale around the twin cities area where I ive. Yur not that much further away.
  20. LIke bansheefreak said, you need more tongue weight.
  21. I think you can get some at Nebraska tire online. They might be "knock offs" though. I bought some fast trekkers there but they were just generics with the same tread pattern. No big deal to me, they work fine.
  22. Intersting. Maybe you should try the same test with the adjustable timing plate.
