  1. Hey guys, I have fmf turbine core silencers and I have them off for repacking. There seems to be two sections of packing in there. Can someone tell me if the rivits need to come off to remove the rear part near the tip of the exhaust? If so do you just replace the rivits with some bolts or what?

  3. When I had your exact setup at 20 - 30 degrees, I was running the stock pilot and 280 mains in the winter. Needle clip in the center position, and air screw 1 1/2 turns out. I would drop the mains to 270 in the spring and fall and run 260's in the summer. Ran great for me and I was at about 900 - 1100 ft also.
  4. I'm working with the same thing. I just got some pwk 28's as well a couple weeks ago. I threw in some 190 mains (only set I had) and 52 pilots and it ran fine but was far from perfect. I ended up busting an idle screw right away and just threw in the towel til I get more jets in the mail. Be careful with those things. They break so easy. I happened to have a couple extra but I will be getting some steel screws in the future. I didn't even bother to look at my plugs so I have no idea if or how rich I was running. Do you trail ride in the winter? I head across the border to ride in the summer but have always wanted to ride in the winter over there. The trails are so nice!
  5. Part # up5245 for the uni's. You need two of them. I got the airbox installed. It was a bit af a pita. You will need a coolant bottle relocation bracket. I had to cut the airbox bracket for the coolant bottle to clear as well which was really gay but whatever.
  6. I will! I am waiting for some jets to come in the mail for the new 28 pwk's that are going on as well. If you are wondering about air filters for it you will need to buy new ones. It takes 2 1/2" by 5" uni's or k&n's. I picked up some uni's from rmatv for around 35 bucks. I'm hoping the uni's will repel water a little better than the k&n's.
  7. I just picked up that exact box. I havn't installed it yet though. If you ran with an open airbox, this wont be any worse. I ended up getting a couple uni filters for it from rmatv. Quaility seems good and I got it within a few days of purchase. I'm thinking the air flow to the carbs will be much better but the hp gains would be minimal.

  10. 2- 28 pwk's with an alum airbox with two uni filters elevation is approx 1000' temp around 30 mods: fattys +4 timing 20cc domes running amsoil at 40:1 Let me know if you might need more info!

  12. Well, after running a 2 into 1 for a while I am wanting to switch back to duals. Question is, what size carbs should I pick up? My banshee is a trail bike so I am thinking about running some 28's or 30's. Would 30's be too big and take away to much low end? My mods are posted in my sig. And what about brand? Keihin or Mikuni? Some feedback would be great!

  16. I have fattys too and the same thing. My hose rests up on the pipe. It's been that way for a few years and have not seen any signs of it melting.

  18. I was thinking about getting a new swingarm (stock length or +2 not sure) with a round house. I really dont want to spend big bucks on a fancy one since my banshee is not meant for show. I have been looking around but cant seem to find something that is within reason. If you guys could point me in the right direction that would be great. Also, I have a trinity 2 into 1 carb kit with a 33pwk on it. I want to buy a new 35 for it since the 33 is showing some age. Where is the best place i could go to buy a new single carb? (besides ebay) Thanks in advance for any suggestions John
  19. Me and a buddy both run FMF. He has the power cores and I have the turbine cores. If you dont ride where there is a noise restriction get the power cores. They are a little louder and sound better imo.
  20. I'm in the same boat as you guys. I bought a brake lever and it took two+ weeks to get it ( which was tolerable ). I then bought a clutch lever on the 4th of this month, paid for it within minutes but have not gotten any confirmation on shipping or nothing. Sent a few emails with no responses. Advise : If you are looking to buy some ASV's, buy them new from atvgalaxy or something. This guy has some serious communication issues going on and obviously it's not a random thing.
