That's your best bet. The other thing I was thinking was a air leak. Check those crappy stock intake boots real good. I had the same problem and sure enough there was a small slit. Good luck.

You should wait for the new suzuki 450, (just to keep you options open) it should be a great bike.

Jeff @ F.A.S.T. He is a great guy to deal with, geniune customer service. I have a stong play port with some rocket pipes, let me tell those 450 are nothin to worrie about. My brother in-laws have'em with pipes, cams and with WR cranks and I just stomp on them at the drags. I can still do the mx track too, it has great bottom end and killer top.

Mark I appreciate your willing-ness to get this deal going good. I have already had the work done or it's actualy in the process but your integraty is their and thats a great relief. This post did get alittle "shitty" but hey sometimes things happen. I'm glad we were able to resolve this issue.

Easy there, thats what it costs from southern Cali to Canada. It was just the shock SMART-ASS! Guys I'm done with this bullshit! Fuck this little click that you guys have going on. Like I said the shock is already at Elka, shipping was like 80 bucks to get it there. Elka's service manager that goes by the name of Ethan said that he was positive that they did not do the shock. He also asked who was the previous owner (Mark Chapman) so he could find a service form. Any-how nothin came up so thats where I'm at. Ethan also said that this was a common problem on used banshee shocks, somethin like the strut rod wears down to much and would not ever hold the fluid thats in there. I don't expect you guys (premium members) to take my side, its not even about that. It is about me bringing it to this forum's attention. This is what it is for. As for my character NYUK, yes I do like to look at the brighter side of things. I just don't see the point in letting it get me down. Oh yeah, John19, Its cool for sayin that about me. Whatever. Champmanmd I bought a +2 swinger, rear shock, skid plate (that was'nt even in the box when I recieved it) and small misc. items. When I first made the deal with Mark he said the rear shock was rebuilt FROM ELKA. As soon as I installed the swingarm and shock, the shock started leaking oil from the valve. Just by looking at the color of the fluid it did indeed look brand new. So I got in touch with Mark about the problem, Mark said Elka would honor it since they did the rebuild. Turns out out Ethan the service manager at Elka said that after looking at it, that it was NOT done by Elka. Now I have to spend the extra 350 to get it done right, or I can charge another un-suspecting HQ member what Mark charged me for a brand new Elka shock Oh yeah Mark if you want to denie any of this, I kept all the pm's we had about this deal

Yup, F.A.S.T. is badass, I have a strong play port and it is sweet. Hey man I thought it would have decent bottom and great top but it has WAY MORE all around then I ever hoped for.
