yes it starts, but i have to pull up the choke. Is that normal. Rides ok. Just the slight bogging before the powerband bugs me. Seems to be ok when I slowly give it full throttle, but when I gun it thats when it bogs,

It think it might be a little lean on the jet. I got these carbs from Tats and I dont think he had those clamp ons like I do. What do you guys think about the mains?
Ok guys right now the niddle clip is in middle air screw is 2 out main is 152 the bike seems to bog a little before power band. I was thinking I need to go up in pilot because it is hard to start when cold

I ordered it from yamaha but it turned out it was the wrong fucking part, yes it was a metal screw but it was to thin. I looked at the book they had too. But still wrong part.
that is a very nice bike. handles very well, plus it is lite so you can throw it around turns and realy just get an overall completel handle of the bike.
These 4 stokes are realy fast stock. you dont have to go and put a hole bunch of $$$ in them like you would a banshee. Plus it keeps up and sometimes beats alot of modded shees. This is the best bang for the buck.
I love my banshee but I just gotta keep it real with you.
Im in the middle of a rebuild. my compression numbers were just about the same as yours. The side that was reading 90 had a piston ring missing. The only trase of it was in the shredded up metal in the dome, now I have to get a new head.

I noticed a loss in power, decided to check the compression an the bad side of the top-end was at 91 the other side was at 110. I'm going to get a top-end kit but just wonderen if this dome is repaiable?
