yes it starts, but i have to pull up the choke. Is that normal. Rides ok. Just the slight bogging before the powerband bugs me. Seems to be ok when I slowly give it full throttle, but when I gun it thats when it bogs, We are going to pismo the frist week of april. Although, if the frorecast says rain we may just back to glamis.

It think it might be a little lean on the jet. I got these carbs from Tats and I dont think he had those clamp ons like I do. What do you guys think about the mains?

Ok guys right now the niddle clip is in middle air screw is 2 out main is 152 the bike seems to bog a little before power band. I was thinking I need to go up in pilot because it is hard to start when cold Also going to pismo beach how should I jet for there? Im at sea level.

got to get some cpi or rockets man, thats the best mod you can do before a port job.

I ordered it from yamaha but it turned out it was the wrong fucking part, yes it was a metal screw but it was to thin. I looked at the book they had too. But still wrong part.

I am looking for some 21cc domes but the local dealer only sells pro design domes. Wil those domes work on a hemi head?

I am getting some keihn 28 pwk carbs, wonderen what size jet to run if I have the stock mikuni carbs with 320 mains?

that is a very nice bike. handles very well, plus it is lite so you can throw it around turns and realy just get an overall completel handle of the bike. These 4 stokes are realy fast stock. you dont have to go and put a hole bunch of $$$ in them like you would a banshee. Plus it keeps up and sometimes beats alot of modded shees. This is the best bang for the buck. I love my banshee but I just gotta keep it real with you.

So thats what people do back there.

Im in the middle of a rebuild. my compression numbers were just about the same as yours. The side that was reading 90 had a piston ring missing. The only trase of it was in the shredded up metal in the dome, now I have to get a new head. Oh well, good luck man!

I noticed a loss in power, decided to check the compression an the bad side of the top-end was at 91 the other side was at 110. I'm going to get a top-end kit but just wonderen if this dome is repaiable?
